Chats are no good for most of what we do in this thread because you miss everything that you're not present for.

I like to be able to take 15 minutes to catch up on some hilarious back and forth conversation when I get home after being out of the house all day. Couldn't do that with a chat room.

Same, and most of my Gaf time is at work, really don't feel like leaving a chat window open all day there.

See, even though IRC works well, I would like to have a more "secure" chat other than IRC. I got fed up with IRC back in the day because my IP was too exposed. Tinychat or Google+ (or even some other system) would be infinitely better.

Or Community. I must be the only person rooting for it.

edit: So a clarification: If RPJ was theoretically moved to Community, we can talk as we did before?

Thread will not exist past January. A move to Community will be very unlikely.

ive seen a really good one a month ago, im not sure how he blended his features or if he did, but it seemed like some were of his side view and some of his front view. maybe the nose is supposed to be side view and i messed that up. anyways someone posted another one in the funny pics thread. i imagine it has a name but i dont know.

I support the IRC idea. It lets us keep in touch even if it is in a different way.

Give it a try before you write it off. It'd be nice if we could get a good number of people transferring over.

I'm thinking about taking a break from GAF for a bit. I post too much, and I've gotten into arguments with people over silly things. I think I might take a break after Vita launches so I can remain ignorant when it tanks so I can actually spend some time playing games, haha.

I was banned for 2 months once. Spent the whole time browsing GAF anyway, but with only 50 posts per page. It was torture. That was the real punishment.
