All Obama's campaign has to do is show clips from this debate. It's fucking horrifying how ignorant and derisive this whole thing is.

Thats what my ad campaign would be.

Begin ad:

Do you know what the republican party actually stands for?

Is this a party you would actually vote for?

I probably would've changed my wording if that was the case.
So his ability to criticize you fluctuates with the law?

I'm trying to say I took offense by you taking a swipe at his age. It's no excuse to be ignorant at 19, but that doesn't mean you have to shove him aside because of his age.

We can actually make this happen. It wouldn't be an official Obama campaign ad, but we could make this video and put it on youtube.

If you're interested in putting something like that together, PM me.

That's the most mind-boggling thing. They're unconditionally against any increase in domestic spending, but an infinite defense budget is a-ok. And the irony is completely lost on them.

And now they are yammering about how we are not competitive . . . well maybe because we waste vast amounts of money on the military instead helping businesses like everyone else does? Duh.

I approve of this idea. It'd be awesome to use the internet to make a sort of grassroots PAC with videos on youtube and stuff.

We already have that Romney, it's IRA and 401k. SS is insurance. Should be bumped to 75 years, but it shouldn't be eliminated or used as a retirement package.

I have no video editing skills :(

Whatever happened to that website you were going to set up?

I'm watching the debate online and during commercials Fox News goes over the twitter reaction rates. Romney's reaction rates have been negative nearly all night, whereas Gingrich and Santorum are receiving positive reactions

So a minute after he says we need a massive military budget, Romney is back to talking about the budget. Are they self-aware at all?

Gotta spend the money over there so we don't have to spend it over here.

This debate has been a caricature of everything that's wrong with the Republican party today.

Easily the worst debate, so far.

The crowd is wretched.

Newt may have been there when the budget was balanced, but that was in an era of prosperity and higher taxes. This is 2012, 3 1/2 years after a world wide financial melt down. Newt lives in an alternate universe if he thinks he is going to balance the budget, and leave Americans unscathed.

That unfortunately fell by the wayside as I found myself swamped with a dozen projects.

However, it's in the works again, albeit in a refocused form. I'll post in this thread when I have something substantial.

I thought Social Security has always had surpluses until the United States started borrowing from it to pay the interest off of treasury securities?

Why did Santorum say that SS has a deficit? Why does SS need to be addressed when it is a system that is producing surpluses?

It's spending more money than it is taking in now (recession + baby boomers retiring), but it's still on a surplus.

I wasn't paying attention to Santorum when he was saying whatever on SS, so I can't comment on anything else.

I know I'm a little late on this, but holy shit at the foreign policy segment in this debate. Those people (with the exception of Paul) are fucking insane. So we need to go back to Iraq, and also go into Syria, Iran, and Turkey while we're at it?
