Btw guys, the theme is official, I wasn't joking.

Not much build-up - Kenny Omega won the AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Title from KAI back in October, but is an outsider contracted to DDT Wrestling so is the automatic heel. Also, he seems to be being somewhat of a dick in his promos and with his general underestimation of Yamato, who is one of the rising stars of AJPW. And it's Kenny Omega - you guys know he always brings the goods, right?

Omega's really starting to rub it in by saying All Japan desperately needs a cool champion and that is exactly what he is. He even claimed All Japan secretly wants him to be the champion because he is so cool.

Michael Nakazawa - I think he's involved with the running of DDT and can almost always be seen accompanying DDT wrestlers to the ring in other promotions. He's probably most known in the US for this moment at CHIKARA's King of Trios a few years back;

Nakazawa is fluent in English, so he is the go to guy for communications between the Japanese and foreign wrestlers in DDT aswell as accompanying them whenever they wrestle in America.

JIRO KUROSHIO DEBUT MATCH;

01. Jiro Kuroshio vs Koji Doi

02. Shuri vs Aki Shizuki

03. AKIRA, Yusuke Kodama & YO-HEY vs Ryuji Ito, Yoshihito Sasaki & Shinya Ishikawa

GAUNTLET ELIMINATION MATCH;

04. Keizo Matsuda, Takashi Okano & Katsumi Hirano vs Hisakatsu Oya, Takuya Kito & Lou Rururu

HARDCORE FULL-DRESS MATCH;

05. Tomoka Nakagawa & Kana vs Lin Bairon & Makoto

06. Yoshiaki Fujiwara, TAJIRI & Hajime Ohara vs Dave Finlay, Murat Bosporus & Big Boy

Another fun show from TAJIRI's SMASH promotion. Check out Shuri vs Aki Shizuki, which is short but sweet and pretty stiff, then there's a good 6-man tag with BJW stars Ito, Sasaki & Ishikawa taking on AKIRA, Kodama & YO-HEY. The hardcore match is pretty fun, but nothing special, while the main event sees Finlay and two Turkish wrestlers take on TAJIRI, Ohara and the legendary Yoshiaki Fujiwara. Lots of good pairings in this one, TAJIRI/Finlay, Fujiwara/Finlay, etc and the finish was fun.

Nice, Omega being an arrogant, dickish heel really suits him, hope he doesn't drop the belt to Kaz next month, although that should be an awesome match.

I really liked when they used Peter Gabriel's "big time" as the mania theme.

I just liked the 80's throwback feel of it.

I've now decided that this is indeed the best WM theme.
The one this year scars my soul, then again I thought similar things about the themes from the last two years until they forcibly bludgeoned their way into my skull, I blame all of you for the WM27 theme in particular.

Anyway, so Raw was pretty solid, I can't help but think the whole Cena thing could have been done much better if Cena actually hit Swagger with the steps, it makes no sense for Kane to interject and stop Cena from giving into the hate so to speak by crushing Swagger. Despite how badly they completely buggered up the storyline (i'd actually been waiting years for a good Cena/Kane feud and this is what I get?!) i'm kind of looking forward to their rumble match.

I marked for Foley even if I don't really want to see him in a wrestling role as the has been legend trying to prove his worth yet again but what really impressed me was the rant from Mr Excitement at the end, i'm almost rooting for him over Punk right now.

Barrett used the term git which is nothing short of fantastic and Jericho's tag in was hilarious.

Damnit Bourne, lay off the spice.

I think his problem is the ring attire. He needs something else. Something to cover those legs.

Nah, he needs a sense of rythym. Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hottie were better dancers than this. They had more funk in their jockstraps than Broadus has in his whole body.

And the guy is seriously from Planet Funk ? What the hell ? Did I just step into a time machine and end up in 1995 ?

...that explains the acknowledgment of the title changing hands at a house show and the Primo / Epico push.

Even more ridiculous, how have AirBoom been the title holders without cutting a single promo of note?

I thought RAW was very good. I was entertained from top to bottom. Johnny Ace is fn coming through with the goods man. Punk was on, Y2J was awesome. Even Foley served a purpose. LA came through good crowd.

Cena was a monster. I really liked RAW it was a very tight show, and the production tonight was spades!

Can't wait for next week!

Too bad ratings are dropping. I feel it hurts the younger talent but they have to keep at it to have a future.

Well, will see you at PWG as Matt Sydell again.

God damn it Bourne.

Well after 2 strikes I am pretty sure WWE offers guys a end of there contract.

just a guess since they haven't had anyone reach 3 strikes yet. Most people get FE'ed after 2 unless there Randy Ortan.

Seems like he could be a good x division guy.... do TNA still do that?

Also there is a wedding on NXT this week? What the hell happened to that show.

I think he just going to be shipped to Smackdown and job for a year. Can we call him MVP?
They did the same to Swagger, hell, Drew McIntyre got drafted to RAW and was never heard of again until he mysteriously appeared back on Smackdown.

What they do, and have done with guys like Bourne, Kofi, Swagger, McIntyre, the list goes on - is completely mind boggling.

But I do agree that if Bourne does get canned it's his own fault. Still doesn't change the fact they've been in a complete stagnant position with him since he's arrived.

They let Masters back and they probably would have kept Umaga if he had went to rehab.

If Bourne gets future endeavoured, my money's on him going back to Japan to work for Dragon Gate. He was really over there when he left and his style is pretty much a perfect fit for Dragon Gate.

Mother F.

It's too bad considering the amount of drugs others wrestlers have done in the past.

But man.. THAT CHRONIC!

What puzzles me is he's not smoking pot - because pot is not a suspension, just a fine. Spice is a suspension.

So not only did he get eased off on for his first offense, he fucks over Kofi again.

After that, he probably should stay on the midcard for a year.
