A damn shame.. All Stars was the first WWE game I bought since the N64 days and I loved the shit out of it. No sequel just blows my mind... I thought All Stars sold pretty good numbers??
For whatever reason I picked up WWE12 after coming off the All Stars high and I quickly realized why I stopped playing/buying these games. Shit... I tried to DL some characters last night and I was still getting server errors left and right... months after the game came out? Rubbish!!!

Assuming WWE is still going for the "John Cena w/title at Mania vs The Rock" we have to consider actual Ramble contestants - so who is a potential Rambler who also can challenge for the WHC? Who actually wants it?

I think last year they needed a hook to make up for the lack of real star power...
This year.. is no different, with even less stars I would imagine.
Probably why, we know like 5 people actually in the match so far.

From what I'm seeing, the only benefit to it is thinking you can dodge the $2500 fine for smoking pot. Which has been proven, twice, with Evan...to not be dodgeable.

All hope is seemingly lost for a build this year but we can still hope for some rumble number games on the night itself, 2005 had some solid backstage segments relating to the rumble match and more.
- Guerrero steals Flair's number
- Angle strong arms his way in by taking Nunzio's number
- Cena/Christian rap off when they go to get their numbers
Then there was other stuff like...
- Carlito's petition against Teddy Long
- Teasing more Batista/HHH dissension.
- The booking of the SD No Way Out main event
Still nothing tops Fully Loaded 2000 for running plots through the backstage segments, more of this at ppvs would be nice.

I feel the same way. I think the show has been more entertaining without him. The whole whiny heel thing he does I'm sick of.
This years winner will probably curtain jerk again. You don't win a main event match anymore.

Drew's been mishandled all around, not sure if tossing him a tag team will change that.
Tyson Kidd could use a partner but I don't think anyone currently on the roster would fit.
Fire Mason Ryan, not sure if Ted should be in a tag team.
Primo and Epico kind of just exist and their current look is very generic.
Everything else I agree.
It is kind of sad.. guess why they had to get rid of that numbers package.
The last Rumble Winner to win the Gold at the Big Show was Taker in 07.

Elgin has been impressing the hell out of me lately. He really stands out next to the chronic superkickers that make up the rest of the roster. He plays the monster heel well, despite only being like 5'11.

Yeah, I remember Perkins from random ROH undercard matches back in 2007 or so and generally felt he was awful, but he's come a long way since then.

I can't get past Elgin's Scott Norton looks. Also, every time I see him, I hear the rogain chant that started during one of ROH's shows in Atlanta last year. He also needs to get out of House of Truth. Groups like that never do anything but hold people back and he could be a legit powerhouse world title contender.
