Where's all the great Rock matches on that DVD? Where Rock v. Hogan at WrestleMania? Where's Rock vs. Austin at 3 different WrestleManias? Where's Rock vs. Jericho at No Mercy? What the hell are they trying to sell with some shitty matches? Hell, the bottom of Disc 2's list is just fucking appearances and his Survivor Series match.

How was the 3 disc Jericho DVD that came out a few years ago? Match list looks pretty good.

I have to say this:

Jericho's entrance sucks balls without that millennium countdown. I always mark when I see and hear that countdown starting.

Such an epic entrance :(

I still prefer his Evenflow entrance music from WCW.

Bring back Lionheart Jericho, Vince!

So remember that kick that Low Ki delivered to Ahtu? I thought he did a great job of selling it. Well....

Ahtu was said to be legitimately knocked out at EVOLVE 10 during a match with Low Ki.

On last Saturday's Internet PPV, Low Ki's first kick connected with and knocked him unconscious. Low Ki was the mystery opponent that Ahtu was scheduled to face.

I want an actual source for that. I have trouble believing a veteran of fourteen years is running around and knocking other wrestlers out.

He works a pretty stiff style, but there's not a whole lot he could have done to protect the dude.

Really just sort of comes down to how good the other guy is at taking it.

I've read of how people have falsely believed Low Ki to have knocked out other workers before. I'm sorry, I just don't believe that such an unsafe worker would be allowed to carry on working. Furthermore, watching the video, it seems he catches Ahtu in the side of the temple. Furthermore, I struggle to believe you can knock someone out with a forward roll.

The title of this thread does get more apt as the month goes on.

Seriously, I can't see Ted Dibiase as being a face because of his father. Once his father took the persona as the Million Dollar Man, I couldn't look at him the same.

Who thinks of these shitty ass nicknames?

What the fuck does "man on the people" even mean? Also Ted's song is too arrogant to take him seriously as a face, "I come from money, I come from cash" shit is too arrogant.

Almost sounds like a spoof of old school wrestling advertisements, no?

I think Matt Striker. At least, that's what always bothered me about his commentary on Smackdown, always coming up with nicknames for people.
I dunno, I always liked how he actually called the match and would talk about the history of a move and other wrestling trivia.

Pretty sure that was just whoever posted that list having some fun.

The only google hits for most of the weird nicknames there are from this thread or your local radio stations.
Also, Gusty is likely a misspelling of "Gutsy". Although I personally think Gusty is an awesome nickname and will steal it in the near future

Gusty Perspicacity has a nice ring to it.

I think RoH owns that name. I think Bryan Danielson should had wrestled with a UK gimmick.

I thought Danielson said WWE owned it in 2010 when they released him and he was working the Indy shows again?

EDIT: Yep...from the Observer in 2010:

- A interesting note regarding Bryan Danielson. When he originally signed with WWE last summer, he signed over the rights to his American Dragon gimmick, so he cannot promote himself as the Dragon on the independents.

Even if ROH didn't own the name, if I was Danielson I wouldn't let them use it. Any name that WWE uses outside of your given name is a name they own. So if WWE used "American Dragon" they would own the rights to it. It's the reason Bubba Ray and Devon aren't the Dudleys anymore.

Why couldn't he be the Alpha Male Monty Brown and not... (what was his name again?) POUNCE!
