Sorry I don't go "OH MAN IT'S ALL DUDEBRO GEARS OF WAR" because I see part of a trailer involving more intense shooting sections. I also saw parts involving leon using smaller arms, RE4 style. and parts with no guns and just exploration, like with Ashley and bald dude.

We knew beforehand it was a combination of RE4/5, so everyone was warned about RE5-style action. And those who didn't write it off immediately saw that it looked wonderful and fun.
Have fun with your sandpaper circle jerk, i'm gonna watch the trailer again.

Only really interested in this story, the rest of the game looks like fun but not what I want from a Resident Evil game., although I guess its an action game series now rather than a horror survival series.

The 28 Days Later homage is really well done in that one bit.

I hope that section is as creepy as it looks.

Zombies being back is absolutely awesome! Also, I am pretty sure I saw Leon walking and shooting at the same time. It was very brief, but I am sure he was. If you can do that in this mainline entry, I will buy. If they don't let you walk and shoot at the same time, I won't buy.

This is the section that it looks like he is moving and shooting. Unless the stop to fire is so quick...

Better yet a QTE where he punches two trains; One with each hand. Then two meteorites crash down upon him and he has to kick those into the final boss(another QTE) to ensure victory until the infection spreads further in RE7
