Women and moderates are not going to vote for Gingrich or Santorum. Nobody is going to vote for Ron Paul. Romney is the only viable candidate in a general election.

Sadly he's an upgrade over Wolf Blitzer, another 'journalist' who inserts himself unnecessarily into these 'debates.'
Newt did pretty great, Romney generally bombed, Santorum was boring and only really hurt Romney, not helped himself. Paul is a non-factor.

Interesting argument by Paul on treating abortion like a violence act, and therefore no different than murder, rape, or other violence acts handled by the states. I've never heard that before, and would love to get an activist Evangelical pro lifer like Santorum's opinion on it

LOL. Paul - has a few screws loose.
I find it interesting that violent crime is managed by the states in the US. In Canada, criminal law is entirely a Federal issue. Provinces only handle regulatory law.

Federal government does have instances where it can prosecute violent crimes in the US.
Paul has a reason - he wants us to go back to the gold standard, with all this debt we wouldn't be able to afford the conversion.

He appeals to a lot of the same groups and demographics as Obama. So I'm sure he doesn't want to alienate any of them by slamming them indirectly. He wants that independent vote.

I am unwilling to watch this debate on philosophical grounds. Has any candidate mentioned Obama as the Affirmative Action candidate, or asked for him to release his college transcripts yet?

The debate was nearly a disaster for Romney. So much hedging and calculated answers.
Santorum did great, Newt did solid but not nearly as amazing as last time. Paul did well too
