Little late weighting in here, but a Romney victory in the general depends on Indiana, Florida Virginia and either all of the New West or Ohio and some combination of one or two of the New West States, either AZ by itself, or NV and one other state, NM or CO.

I think that the most plausible is to campaign hard in Ohio, appeal to the largish Mormon base in Nevada, and try to win in AZ to seal the deal. Keep NM or CO as a backup, so he'd do a good deal of campaigning there too.

It's a tough road to hoe but that's the only road to victory that I see for Romney.

I think Newt has to play the same game too but with less New West support, so maybe he'd have to make a play elsewhere. I really can't see where he could go though, so I think he's stuck in the New West. If I were Newt I'd count on losing Nevada and just going all in AZ.

Tell me are you from the south? I hate when people like you say that, there's more people that say that than are in the south. rage.

I was born and raised in the south. If you think racism doesn't have ANYTHING to do with how certain people here perceive the president, then you are WOEFULLY ignorant. For old southern white guys, you're fucking right some have a problem with a black man in office. Not because of his policies or things that would actually have you against him. No, that stuff comes later. The first thing they have a problem with is a black man in the white house. Then comes the bullshit about elites, then made up shit about his policies that aren't true, next thing you know he's the fucking anti-christ.

Which is pretty much how the narrative went for Obama these past few years in certain circles.

The NBC intro of the debate, by Brian Williams, said we have a 10% unemployment rate. wtf, or is he talking about Florida's unemployment rate..

edit: Ah looked it up. Florida's UE rate is 10%, makes sense

I'm sorry but anything regarding racism coming from you isn't something I take seriously. The whole 'white racism' made it very difficult.

Alright I'd like to discuss this in a serious manor.

Does anyone disagree here that there is a stereotype that White Conservatives are considered, or more likely to be racist?

Do you not find it possibly that a closed minded individual would accuse me of being a conservative racist, as a moot arguing point? For example I wasn't sure if I supported Obama?

I'm not saying this is a every day occurrence. I just find it closed minded of you, and others that might think like you to disregard this, and discredit me.

Hahahah, he stepped down because the results weren't as good as they should have been?

Really Romney, "the bottom level of a consulting firm."? Fuck you, that's a prestigious job.

Thank you!

I like it when people get mad about negative generalizations about their deal and defend that with a positive generalization about their deal.

Y'all are racist!

We'all are never racist!

When people say "the south is racist" they don't mean "every individual in the South is racist" they mean "Racism is more prevalent or obvious in the South."

I don't know what the actual "racism stats" are, but that's what the generalization is about.

I get that it feels bad man to have it inferred that a state or region is racist because some scumbag hillbilly two towns over is racist, but it's just as absurd to deny it wholesale instead of talking about the issue.

It also shouldn't gloss over the fact that the North has plenty of issues in this regard too.

"influence peddler" damn, Mitt has been given some terms to use, for sure. Going for the throat right off the bat. Going to be a bloodbath this debate by all 4, I believe.

EDIT- Newt with the dodge.

I'm your huckleberry. After this debate, when the page actually calms down, we can have this discussion since you don't seem to have any respect for a person making these claims if they're not from the south.

I'm FROM the south. Born in Austin Texas and did dirt in Atlanta Georgia. Home of your favorite person running for president. I've met Newt.

Let me know when you want to have an honest, open discussion about this issue and I'll be your huckleberry.

Forgive me if I'm failing to detect your sarcasm, but Birth of a Nation is a film made by racist that portrayed the KKK as group of heroes, and is not to be confused with that recently discovered youtube video.

This will get lost in the debate reaction, but yes, I was joking.
