Haha, Romney actually gloating that he was so wealthy Kennedy had to take out a second mortgage on his house. He's going to resonate really well with the middle class.

I'm sorry, Romney either is a complete buffoon or has the worst advisers known to man.

This guy has no idea what it takes to win.

Please don't hate me, but there are certain aspects to a happier crowd I miss. I'm not saying like the South Carolina Debates, but I like it when there is a little more enthusiasm.

That the previous debates have largely been poorly moderated does not mean that you should have the expectation of that kind of absurdity going forward.

I would think that he is trying to say he is so strong a candidate that Kennedy needed that...but then again im not actually watching this farce.

I think we're past the point of balancing the budget. If you care about the debt, you have to look towards out-raising expenses.

I think 49 states have BBAs in one form or another. How many can say they actually did it, especially without raiding some other rainy day fund? Even the national debt rose while Clinton was running budget surpluses.

Unfortunately, Team Deval and the current Mass legislature have pissed away all of Romney's budget accomplishments and we're back to having large annual deficits.

Evading? No. Dragging in so many non-germane points as to obscure his clarity? I don't think he does it to be obfuscatory, but I wouldn't say he excels at answering questions either.

definitely the truth. The way he makes his points is so incredibly annoying to listen to. He might have a nugget of wisdom in there, but he can't help but hide it in between so many non sequiturs and weasel noises.

What I hope is that all of this mess about picking a candidate will just lead to few conservatives going out to vote.

Not that Obama is of any use to anyone not conservative really, but whatever, at least it's not the Republicans.

He can ramble but I thought I he explained his positions on every question that was asked of him. See the difference here is that he answers the questions and then rambles on a tangent.

The rest of these fucks don't even bother with the first part. They just pick the closest talking point to the general area of the question or answer the question they wish was asked.

My prediction:

Media goes after Romney for more attacks on Newt.

Newt begins to play Mr. Nice Guy.

The GOP voter sympathizes with Newt.

Newt sails to the nomination.

When a candidate's positions are already so entrenched in fantasy, evading questions is unnecessary.
I'm not saying vote for the man, just that he wasn't being evasive like everybody else on stage.

I'm sure that's Newt's hope, but is he even capable of playing nice guy?
