Funimation has a 2012 New Title Survey posted to gauge interest in potential future releases. There are two main questions, asking which of the following titles you would purchase and which are your top four "must-buy" titles.
Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai (We Without Wings Under the Innocent Sky)
Uta no Prince-sama
Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi (A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives)
Mawaru Penguindrum
Seitokai No Ichizon (Student Council's Discretion)
Guilty Crown
Ben-To
R-15
Baka and Test 2
The Tatami Galaxy
Twin Angels
Senki Zesshou Symphogear
Maken-Ki!
Dantalian no Shoka
Chihayafuru
C-3
Nichijou
Future Diary (Mirai Nikki)
Gosick
Sekaiichi Hatsukoi
Omamori Himari
LAST EXILE -Fam, the Silver Wing-
Goshusho-sama Ninomiya-kun
Fortune Arterial
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.
30-sai no Hoken Taiiku
Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Sitteiru (Betrayal Knows My Name)
There are also three open-ended questions, simply asking what your favorite show is in your collection and why, and what show you would use to introduce a friend to anime, and a final optional question for any further comments on potential new titles.

Vampire Princess TV 3

The visual compositions in this show have been quite arresting. I'm lazy so I'll just post one example:

As the camera pans up to this shot, it appears that the trail of hair at the bottom is the boy's, dangling off the side of his head. But then his head turns:

And we see that it is actually part of the mask hanging on the wall behind him, the same mask that has been causing him nightmares. The hold this mask has on him is memorably demonstrated both physically, by making it appear he has partially taken on its appearance, and mentally, by the meaningful glance he gives it. There are lots of little moments like this. I'm very impressed.

You guys need to watch some Gintama recap episodes. They're amazing.

Gintama's recap episodes are fun to watch because they don't actually recap anything.

I voted for Penguin Drum, Tatami Galaxy, Chihayafuru, and Nichijou - which are the only titles on that list worth anything to begin with.

I'm guessing that K-On! bombed so they're not interested in picking up the superior S2. :(

Also, no Wandering Son means American anime fans also suck. lol

I voted for Tatami Galaxy but I'm sure some shitty show like Guilty Crown or some harem shit will beat it.

Funimation is in it to make a buck. Unless you are actually planning on buying it, don't vote for it. There aren't very many companies left in North America distributing anime on shiny round discs.

Filled it out and told them to pick up some Bandai titles and release the Code Geass BDs. ;P

I voted for it husbando. O:

Voted. Chihaya and The Tatami Galaxy.

The recap episode to Martian Successor Nadesico is absolutely amazing.
This is true.

Unless someone has already licensed it. :D ... :( Looking at the survey it would be amusing and perturbing if they included it, since the gender options are male or female. *laugh* Wandering Son is too progressive for Funimation. Stupid, ignorant Texans.

I would seriously buy about half of those.

I voted for Penguin Drum (I really hope they bring it over), Chihayafuru, and Tatami Galaxy. I'm not sure how popular these shows are over here though since I don't really follow any other anime forums/threads besides this one.

Definitely getting this.

Oh! Edo Rocket 23:
What a fantastic episode (I feel like a broken record on this). There were some really hilarious moments, particularly the NicoNico parody scene, and just about everything worked really well. The episode was pretty important for character development stuff, and it was nice to see Ginjiro again and find out more about his past and the focus on dreams of the people. I liked seeing more focus on the rebellion aspects that were touched upon earlier in the series.

FUNi better release Penguins and Chihaya now that they've put this poll up. I'll be mad otherwise.

I also told them to release Digimon and Sailor Moon on DVD, even though that will never happen.

The fact that Funi has stuff like 30-sai in consideration is just.....huh.

Out of that list I'd probably just buy Penguindrum, Chihayafuru, and maybe Ben-To. I've been selling off most of my anime recently because it became too much to keep buying series indiscriminately.

I wonder if it bombed on CR as well. Previously, Cobra was their lowest rated show. :p

As if we needed another reminder. :(
Pack it up and close it down, anime is still dead!

So, I tried watching the first episode of Panty and Stocking, and I guess couldn't get into it.

So, I watched this instead:

Daily Lives of High School Boys 3
Still extremely enjoyable. I did like how the mole story ended up since I was expecting something like from the first episode so it was nice to see them not reusing the same jokes.

Hey guys for Book Girl, am I supposed to watch the OVAs first or can I just watch the movie on its own?
They're all standalone stories, although of course the movie gives you the most context and (I believe) adapts the "big" storyline that tied all the Book Girl novels together.

----

Natsume is so god-damned :firehawk that I wish I had watched the first two seasons.

Seriously, they should just forget about the continuity (well, keep all the BL stuff for the girls, I guess) and do these stories over and over again.

Also, dat cat animation:

Ano Natsu de alien waifu 1-3

This show's much more enjoyable than I expected. Remon owns for trolling the shit outta everyone.

Voted for Penguins, Chihayafuru, Tatami Galaxy and Ben-To and name dropped Dennou Coil.

I thought Guilty Crown was confirmed. Regardless had to pick Symphogear. Shocked that Uta no Prince Sama and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi are up there, its like a dream. I guess those were my four.

Penguindrum could use a dub, Uraboku too, Ben-to, and Anohana. Hm so many on that list I would buy.

Named dropped Gundam Age and Sacred Seven.

But no one picks up Kimi to Boku, darn Nisa :( Guess I may get this anime from them.
