PS Vita US Launch Details (Launch Games, Accessory Pricing)

Now that it's been blatanlty confirmed that Gravity Rush is NOT a launch title (Thank You GameStop), that leaves me with one spot open.

...May as well get FIFA 11 alongside Rayman Origins to compensate.

What were their shipping fees to Oz? I'm tossing up the best options between stores like VGP or Amazon+Shipping forwarder. The Australian launch price of the machine and games are ridiculous, so doing my best to import. I'd likely still come out on top with higher shipping costs.

Memory Card (one of the cheaper ones... I will upgrade that later)

I would like to get Lumines, but I think I will wait for a price drop. Just didn't think it'd be $40.

As much as I hate spending all this money, Im glad Sony announced the price so early. It allowed me to gradually save up random change, trade ins, gift cards, etc. I got my Vita down to 17 bucks but Ill have it paid in full by 2/22 with some leftover to throw on the memory card. Shouldnt be too bad.

I still owe $140.00 for all of those items, paid off most of it with trade-ins. As far as games go, I'll be renting Uncharted from Gamefly and downloading the following:

Not sure how I'm going to pay for those yet. But I'm leaning towards ebaying off some rare games like Metroid Prime Trilogy, Super Mario All-stars Anniversary and Demon's Souls deluxe.

Just put in my preorder for WipEout 2048 since apparently Sony just raised the price for it to $40 on their store. So I preordered it at Amazon with whatever credit I have, still have $12 to cover but I'll get that paid for soon.

Bought that hori protective filter, I hope it's as good as some say it is.


You guys paying off everything is baffling to me, I'll keep milking out that interest until launch.

Demon's Souls deluxe is the only one out of the three that I'm hesitant on, I'd like to play it... one day. But then again, not sure how long Atlus USA will keep those servers up.

We are less than a month away from release and retailers still seem confused as to what is releasing when and at what price. Doesn't speak well to the communication between retailers and Sony.

Poop. Didn't realize SonyStyle raised the price on Wipeout, too. Went ahead and locked it in for $30 at Amazon.
 
This is kind of a stupid question, but are there (quality, english) reviews out for vita games (from imported vita, i would assume)?

I am not sure what to pick. So far, uncharted, and perhaps wipeout, though I always *sucked* at it (and am not a big fan of 'weapons-enhanced racing games', except for interstate 76, which is not a racing game at all). I am also tempted by lumines and hot shots golf - never played either but GAF seems to like them - do we have impressions of the vita versions?

It's strange, it seemed like $29.99 was the MSRP since almost everyone had it for that price right when PS Blog announced the launch lineup. Good thing I just preordered it cause I was gonna wait a while to grab it.

Frak it, I don't want to be carrying a bunch of Vita game cards. Jus the current single player game I'm playing in my Vita and all my multiplayer games on the 32 gb card. I'll just have to suck it up for whatever the PSN versions end up costing.

Kidding. Seriously though, terrible news. I preordered Hot Shots Golf on Best Buy's site using a gift card, I hope they honor the lower price because that and Wipeout are both showing up as $40 there. The price hike is definitely looking universal =/
