Not yet, but since the PSP version was on of last year's best selling PSP games, I would assume 2k13 on vita is a pretty safe bet.


I know madden was just made official for vita this year. And with FIFA and MLB already (almost) here, i think all sports will be covered. Maybe not NCAA Football :/

I'm considering buying Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection now that it is at a discount to play it on the VITA. It will look decently, right?

Hopefully they all make use of the Cross play like MLB12 is going to. Real shame Fifa isn't doing that for the launch version.

yeah and it is THE way to play the game. so much fun with friends. i'm not too bothered by it not being in the vita version though. the single player experience is still great and i doubt any of my friends will have a vita anytime soon.

I imagine the upscaling should be ok on the Vita screen. I think this because playing old school games like Chrono Trigger and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night look perfectly fine on my 40" Samsung, so I'd imagine that those same games, being played on the 5" Vita screen would look better, even with the upscaling.

I'm looking forward to playing a lot of PSP games on my Vita. I missed a lot of releases over the past few years, since my PSP battery is so old it can barely hold a charge, so I just don't use it much (that and my hands going numb after extended play...).
 
I've noticed that some of my Vita friends have a background image next to their name. Is that set automatically depending on the games you play or is there a way for me to set mine?

You set it yourself in your profile. I can't remember if it is from the Friends app, the Store somewhere, or what... I'll check in a bit if you haven't figured it out.

EDIT: Friends App > Click on your own name on the top > Click the ... in the bottom right > Edit Account Information > Put in your password > 'Panel' is the second option

Nothing, but this is a must IMO. NBA2K13 on the Vita. She will be mine. Oh yes. She will be mine.
 
Games that exist on both PS3/Vita (thinking UMvC) and contain multiplayer - are you able to play cross platform online? Is that something Sony is aiming for?

Capcom didn't implement it into UMvC3 (likely due to time constraints), but it does exist in WipEout, so I would say it is likely that Sony is aiming to do that in games like those, yes.

I certainly hope this is the endgame with the Vita, it's something I think they should have pushed on devs harder. I would be 10x more likely to double dip on games if they had this support, especially for sports titles.
 
Took the plunge and pre-ordered a wifi Vita. Only paid about 120 bucks for it because I had some amazon credit. Not bad.
 
I really want to know how the Lunar psp remake looks on the Vita. I don't suppose anyone out there with a Japanese Vita can tell/show me? :)


also, no multiplayer in Rayman? No sale. They are already charging $10 more than for the ps3/xbox 360 version, but removing features....

Yeah, don't ask me why the game of choice for the Bundle was Little Deviants, they're catering to the absolute wrong demo with that shit, there's no beating around the bush -- it's a hardcore machine created for hardcore gamers, so why would anyone want to play a mini game compilation on their sparkly new console? An Uncharted Vita bundle would have been way more popular.
 
I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere on GAF (possibly even in this thread), but this week's Famitsu reviewed Ragnarok Odyssey. It got a 9,8,8,7.

General praise for the high speed of the game and battle mechanics. The person who gave it a 7 said that the game might be too difficult in general for some people who plan on only playing alone.
