GlassesGAF is best GAF <3

I see me and Strider2K99 are under the Black GAF gif. Sentry, I appreciate the inclusion, and all but unfortunately, we're both Hispanic (Dominican). Again, I appreciate the gesture; I think it's fantastic so don't worry about it.

That said, while I haven't been posting in this thread all that much, I've been lurking in it a lot. It's been fun seeing what you all really look like behind the avatars; so many surprises.

I've been thinking about whether or not keep it, do the first letter of your username month, or put on my "mask" again. I haven't decided yet. I'm leaning towards the first letter of my user name even if it means getting creative. What are you all planning doing with your avatars once this thread is all said and done?

Good afternoon RP-Gaf.
I'm in a great mood. Just watched a great football game.

(don't read if you don't want to know the score of Feyenoord-Ajax)
Feyenoord Rotterdam won against their arch-enemy Ajax Amsterdam..4-2... good times!

Edit: As you can see here it is kind of a big thing.... especially because Feyenoord hasn't won for 11 years against Ajax I think.

So I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey last night with my Fiancee. First time I've watched it when I wasn't 9, or under the influence of something and I have to say... it's a pretty shitty movie.

There's about 45 minutes of good movie in there.

Don't get me wrong, the set pieces and the effects are nice even today, but wow is it heavy handed.

You just don't get it man.

Sorry to just pop in and drop a serious bomb on you all but does anyone here have any experience/advice on how to support someone living with cancer? I'm currently living at my cousin's house and my uncle has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. His brother died from it about 6 months ago and that's why he ended up getting tested himself.

As you can imagine, the whole family is pretty devastated and I wanted to know what RP-GAF thought I should do to try and help them. I'd appreciate any tips or advice any of you could give me but please don't worry about me, I'm fine. I just want to help make things better for them, somehow.

I was actually in the same kind of situation not too long ago. From what I experienced, being with the family and just spending time with them is enough and pretty much the best thing you can do. Just gotta sacrifice some of your own time.

i just watched the sequel 2010: The Year We Make Contact with my gf and we pretty much thought it was better than 2001 :P a more satisfying and understandable ending at least to me. i dislike endings that are left open to interpretation like in 2001 (or maybe i just didn't get it, need to watch again perhaps).

i'm far from a film expert though. and i'm glad, i can love many "bad" movies and not feel ashamed at all!

Actually it was Iggies Pizza in Baltimore.

This thread seems to move much slower on the weekend.

Yeah. I was addicted to takeaway pizza at one point. When Dominos in the UK were doing this, I had to get one every weekend. lol

It was the hottest pizza they did. Every bite was like pure heat. There were so many chillies on it. :D

Yeah, I recently watched it for the first time as well, and personally, I liked it almost as much as 2001, though for very different reasons.

Is everyone in this automatically included in the OP? I can't seem to find myself anywhere :(
If you never posted in this thread, it's most likely you weren't in the collage. That said, the OP collage is old, and the new one will be posted at the end of the month (prob. tomorrow).

However, I just checked, and you weren't my avatars folder, meaning you never posted in this thread. Unfortunately the countdown deadline ended a few pages ago, when I posted that countdown clock. :(

I always thought you were from Jipan. :p I'm sorry though, it is hard to guess, especially going off of 100x120 avs.

so when this month is over, RIP thread?
This will be happening. :D

I thought it was cheese, but yellow mustard? That's far, far, far, far worse.

The later ones I bought never had it on, but I think that may have been because they ran out. The mustard was okay, but it was mainly the chillies I was addicted to. I love them.

It had all sorts of meat on it as well. Spicy meatballs, sausage, beef, ham, etc.

Next time get pineapple and ham. So good. But yeah, meat lovers + chilli peppers is good, mustard just weirds me out.

My thought as well. Mustard is just way to strong a flavor to put on pizza.

My pizza last night was amazing. Super caramelized onions in place of sauce, mozzarella, pancetta, sausage, and sun-dried tomatoes. I should have ordered a large instead of a small.

Sun dried tomatoes are my ultimate weakness, they're so good...

Omg no! Pineapple is a fruit. You have it with things like dessert. It's just wrong on pizza.

I've already been through this.

I've never tried a bacon doughnut before. It just sounds so wrong to me. It is like putting pineapple on pizza, it's just wrong.

Pineapple, for instance, I have separated in my mind as part of a dessert. If you get my meaning.

No doughnut tastes better than these in my opinion.

Well, the reason for it is because the pizza was intended to be extremely hot. The heat of the mustard was the reason they put it on. I'm not too keen on mustard myself either, but it wasn't that bad really. The main reason for me buying that is for the chillies. And they put an awful lot on. They were all over the thing. lol

ah, cool. i thought everyone just dismisses the sequel and thinks it shouldn't even exist.
Yeah, the only reason I didn't watch it sooner, is because I didn't know there WAS a sequel to 2001. If it weren't for GAF mentioning it once, I don't think I ever would have. :lol
