Other way around. We were on a 9 game winning streak (beating Washington, Detroit, etc.) before we lost to the Bucks at home without Bogut. Then we let Minnesota score 42 points in a quarter.

Rockets are going to lose tonight.

Pacers are a good team, but out West they'd be competing just to make it to the playoffs.

Melo is pretty good. His talent isnt translating with poorer talented players though. If Baron is 'good' the team will be alright. I see 35-31.

The Kevin Love thing is infuriating, BSPN is sickening.

"Minnesota has to extend him, or he's going to the Lakers"

"Minnesota screwed up, they should have given him a max deal"

"Kevin Love is gone after his next contract"

This is worse than Dwight, he can't leave for another FOUR YEARS.

And you don't give max deals to players who've never had a playoff game.

errr, vag, simmons has, for a very long time, admitted kobe is a good player. Admitted is the wrong word, it implies he ever denied it. Doesn't mean he has to be a fan.

Stop being such a giant homer.
 
I almost picked us too, I kid, plus it's Orlando. They are on a bad streak of horrible offense. I see Dwight having an awesome game, but the others..eh.

Yeah, i can understand only giving love 4 years.

I think you can only have one guy on a 5 year extension now? that should be rubio for the wolves.

Don't get me wrong, Love is going to be their franchise big. But rubio is worth more to the team.

He's admitted Kobe was talented but constantly bashed his intangibles, selfishness, basketball IQ, etc. That never led to any kind of respect, it was the way most people view Lebron James today. Admit he's a very great basketball player, don't respect him or his will to win or be great. Problem is, Kobe never had a problem with a will to win or a desire for greatness. Thus, Bill Simmons finally understanding this about Kobe means he's "finally coming around"

Durant's comments about Blake's dunk come across as completely bitter. Playing semantics and downplaying amazing plays isn't a suit that anyone wears well.

You've literally argued, several times, that Nash is a good defender by talking about his help defense and his "deflections" even though we all know he's a terrible defender.


But you're right, it's crazy that I'm simply glad that the most popular sports writer of the past several years who has admitted to hating Kobe countless times finally respects my team's franchise guy.


If anyone wrote that way about Nash, you'd have posted the quote or the link on here as well, stop being silly

While Kobe clearly works very hard and plays through pain, I don't really think it's fair to guys like Ray, Nash, Millsap, Dwight (dogging it right now, but it's not like Kobe hasn't done that as well), KG, and others for Kobe to be appointed as this guy who works harder and cares more and plays through more pain than everyone else. Kobe just has more media attention and is more public about his work.

Eh, people here also constantly leave nash off of the fittest player lists. People get overlooked regularly for lots of things.

Durant is also someone who works relentlessly on his game. When he came into the NBA he had incredibly horrible handles. Now, he's pretty decent.
