Grats Newcastle. I am gutted I cant deny it. Tough season to be a Villa fan. I thought we played ok as well. I have this terrible feeling we are about to go on a terrible run of form. Ack. Best case we limp through the rest of the season and go on a transfer spree as we have so many expensive players coming out of contract.
 
As disappointed as I am with the way things worked out today I'll be happy if we can just get 4th. I have no greater aspirations given how dire our form has been in general. That said I'll be rooting for Spurs tomorrow. Maybe for a draw.
 
"The two penalties in the second half, which I think were justified" - I'm just catching up with the Ferguson post match interview - he lost it talking about some random linesman decisions form months ago.
 
Great result. Would have preferred a UTD win but a draw is not too bad. Hopefully UTD can take points of Liverpool as well next week.

Great save from De Gea and not for the first time. It's a shame that only his errors are publicised when he is such a great promising goalkeeper who I am certain will go on to be one of the best keepers in not only the PL but the world.

the battle for 4th is going to be a lot of fun to watch. Especially if Ba and Cisse really start to click. Newcastle to me is currently a bigger threat than Arsenal/Liverpool, but that can always change.

Otherwise, I'll be rooting for Bale tmrw. The only consolation to today's draw is another amazing week in fantasy. 74 points this week and up 30+ spots since December :)

The Sturridge on Evra one? It's cast iron, I couldn't believe people were complaining about it. The Welbeck one was a joke but the first was nailed-on. Sturridge just whacks the back of Evra's leg.

Doesn't anyone know where I can see highlights of the UTD game this morning? Unfortunately I slept through the game... I wanted to see it too.

As much as I..don't like him, I want him to stay in Serie A with Milan.

But he doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut.

I was thinking earlier that he drags the thread down into a bitching match everytime he is here (banter or whatever he wants to call it). When he is banned we are in peace time. When he is free, wartime.
 
Kermit banned again? He's been banned as much as 2Pac was shot now.

I'm sure he'll be back with an 'Only Kun Can Judge Me' tattoo soon enough.

In other news, Danny Guthrie played well for Newcastle. Glad to see him doing well, classy player who wasn't quite good enough for Liverpool in his younger days. Nice to see how he's improved as he's gotten older.

Anyone else from Liverpool GAF going the match tomorrow?

That's when this thread is at it's best imo.

I looked at the Meus thread that Kermit posted in and I can't see anything he said that would get him banned. It must have been a different thread he was banned in.
