lol I guess they missed a spot...this is not a comparison shot even though it looks split down the middle.

This should be sexy as fuck.
Screw you Skyrim HD 2k or whatever!
Found the core!
:lol
Core: Dad are you proud?
Core pretending to be dad: Yes I am son
Core: Dad are you space?
Core pretending to be dad: Yes I am son
Core pretending to be dad: Now we are family again
Something like that.
You can do if you want. If you would rather go Vanilla then yes.guys should I delete all of my texture mods... I downloaded the tex pack and its just adding it to my game in steam... ?
No performance hit as far as I'm aware. To repeat the question again, how is performance and load times affected by the texture pack?
Can you disable it?
Yup.Is this the portal mod? I can't get it to show up in game. It appears to be installed correctly and I have it checked off.

Thanks for the answers people. Another question, what's the location of the texture pack? I was thinking in doing a joint to move them to a quicker hard disk to see if i get less of an impact. You can do if you want. If you would rather go Vanilla then yes.
Not 100% what textures it changes (humans?).

Yes you can.
You get two .ESP's that you can uncheck.Yup.
oh my god
I might double dip now
Edit; Does it have native 360 controller support? And if not, is it easy to set up?
It's just two esp files in the Data folder. Thanks for the answers people. Another question, what's the location of the texture pack? I was thinking in doing a joint to move them to a quicker hard disk to see if i get less of an impact.
Yup it does.oh my god

No hit for me.So what's the performance hit like? Curious to see whether 3GB worth of slightly higher res textures is worth it or not.

so guys I guess since these tex pack is a esp file it will overwrite all my other textures. They're just in the texture folder.... Did you guys delete yours I'm not sure what to do? :/
I heard the robot from the space mod but can't find him..
I feel that the texture mod is pretty awesome. The game looks a lot better now. Up close its not stunning but it's pretty awesome!
So you just click 'Subscribe' and that's it?
WTF? What about different options and all that? Is it really that easy?
Also, since Skyrim was the only major release of 2011 without Nolan North in it, you should consider this mod a patch to fix that problem. You can now feel free to include Skyrim in the "Nolan North" section of your video game library, which is to say, your video game library.
Quality World Map
Believable Hair
Enhanced Distant Terrain
Enhanced Distant Trees Higher-Poly Skyrim
HiRes Legible Road Signs
Increased Character Height
Killable Children
Lush Trees
No NPC Greetings
Realistic Lighting without Post Processing
Realistic Ragdolls & Force
Realistic Water Textures
Skyrim Flora Overhaul (Hi Res version)
Skyrim iHUD
SkyUI
Wars in Skyrim 1.4 Normal
Xenius Character Enhancement
Since installing the texture pack I'm having SERIOUS hitching and 2-3 second freezes while traveling around the world. I assume this is my computer having trouble loading up the new grids quick enough with the higher res textures?
Does this mean 1GB Vram isn't enough? I can't imagine any of my other mods would really overload like this:
Code:Quality World Map Believable Hair Enhanced Distant Terrain Enhanced Distant Trees Higher-Poly Skyrim HiRes Legible Road Signs Increased Character Height Killable Children Lush Trees No NPC Greetings Realistic Lighting without Post Processing Realistic Ragdolls & Force Realistic Water Textures Skyrim Flora Overhaul (Hi Res version) Skyrim iHUD SkyUI Wars in Skyrim 1.4 Normal Xenius Character Enhancement

this is ridiculous! cant wait for more mods to show up. when all the ones im using are there i might just backup my save and do a fresh install, and sub to them all.
poor skyrimnexus
I'd definitely not dead... You can subscribe to mods via the Steam Community system, or you can download them through the Nexus and do it manually... I think I will still prefer to do most things manually because I have more control that way.
wow sooo glad I didn't delete my other textures. I load my game and it over wrote everythang... my beautiful sky, and my awesome daedric gauntlets... thanks beth but no thanks.
I am not getting this. The texture file found your texture files and deleted them? That doesn't sound right at all. Or is Bethesda's tex mod loose files? It should be a bsa.

no beths tex pack is two esp files. All my other texture mods are from nexus, and I always download them manually. I checked the two esps and it just over wrote to other textures like they were not there. Plus it took like 5 minutes to start in steam. I does change characters too. My characters face was waaay worse with beths texs on. so o'while.
Nothing was overwritten. Skyrim is loading the BSA files with the high res textures via the ESPs in your Data File list/mod list. Nobody knows quite sure yet how priority works. Wyre Bash has the ability to automatically re-date BSAs, but it's still unknown if that matters as it does with ESPs.
