The Law of Ueki: 30

"Listen up. The weak exist to serve the strong, and you are obviously weak, so it can only be meant that you were born to serve me." Lol, the mental gymnastics performed in this show have been a constant source of comedy. Also, it seems that Cloud is still busy halting materias.

"My dear Pastello, do what you're supposed to do and tickle them pink."

These power's really have gotten sillier, but Haiku guy is awesome with his quirps, lol. That fight was actually pretty fun. Rinko and Sano make for a fun little team, and I'm glad to see that the show doesn't fall apart with no showings of Ueki. Also they really, really need to get a new op already. I hate that song.

Gundams! And another bro for Ueki. I didn't see the need to explain the model
If it wasn't going to work anyway.
This fight wasn't anywhere near as interesting as the previous one.

It's called keep everything a secret from onee-chan.

...man, I'm really at a lost of words on what to talk about with these episodes. All these characters are incredibly one-note, and they don't have more than one trait. Takashi is a fan of Shao, Izumo wants a date with Shao and is a playboy, Koichirou is nerdy boy in glasses who fawns over Ruuan from afar, and Ruuan is extremely clingy with Tasuke - I miss mentioning a few others, but it's just not done in a very entertaining way for me.

New OP and ED, and I like both songs a lot. The OP even has a few interesting scenes in it. Also, on the note of interesting scenes, there was one particularly well animated scene in this ep, and I mean particularly well animated scene. I guess they thought so too, since they reused it three times, I believe. DEEN, lol...
Super Saiyans!
That whole thing hardly even fits the established workings of the show, but I don't care anymore. I turned my brain off 10 episodes ago. It looks badass.

Counter-Strike! Lol, I guess that it's also no surprise that this has been the fight I've found most interesting so far. I'm a huge sucker for military squad-based tactics. And with that, this ep had a few really badass scenes (Above; highly badass in motion)

The Law of Ueki: 35

It wasn't as interesting when it broke into a solo battle, but it was still pretty interesting, and closed on a real strategic note. Definitely dug that. I'm going to be down when this war is over.

---

I have noticed that the show's been much better since this second arc kicked off, just in general. No more incredibly awkward cuts, better art/animation, genuine comedy, interesting tactics. I'm seeing what you meant, Cosmic.

Is this the new Madhouse?

Nope, that's MAPPA.

I wonder why MAPPA doesn't have a site yet.

It's because they're busy piecing together genius,
and "The Dream Machine," lol/no...:(

Serious answer: being a fledgling studio, I can actually picture there being a priority ladder, even just initially, and extraneous representation and the maintenance of being very low on it. Focus assets.

It's weird. I never thought the day would come when we'd have promise of an actual E7 sequel, and I wouldn't care at all, given how much I liked the series.

Guilty Crown 16

Wtf is this shit!? Loser Shu wasn't good but at least shutting my brain off made the show bearable, this even more pathetic Shu is so fucking offensive. bwahahahaha

Character designs are downright ugly. At this rate they should have just adapted that unrelated spinoff that got the single manga volume and a PS2 game.

AO will rock... rock.... rock over Japan. :/

If this is Bones' survival strategy they're probably not going to survive.

Does this make Level-5 the Penguin Drum?

Strike Witches 02

Had the dub on Netflix Instant and wanted to give it another shot after watching the first episode awhile back in subs. Verdict? The crotch shots still make me want to barf.

Elfen Lied 01

I don't think I've ever seen a show turn a brutal murderer into a moe character within minutes like this. Add to this the douchebag soldier guy who punches anyone who sneaks up on him especially if they're secretaries just trying to do their job. If anything, the character is only funny because of how ridiculous he is. The episode in general evokes feelings of Chobits in the second half so I'm interested in seeing where this goes.

I wish I could say that I wasn't the one sitting behind this screen, watching this bad animu all day, but I can't. The things one does for power, lol.

Is that how we vie for power? By hurting ourselves? We sound like weirdos.

Next week's big reveal for E7AO is going to be pretty painful I bet. We'll probably see bad CG mechs fighting bad CG monsters, terrible moe characters with average character animation, and Omigawa will probably voice some important character. :/

I bet Naoki Sato isn't doing the soundtrack either. It'll be someone boring and generic instead, just like the rest of the show. I feel like I'm having a breakdown right now. My chest feels heavy. Help. :/

What supernatural being descended and gave cosmicblizzard the ability to make people watch bad anime?

Good thing Jexhius is my patron. He gives me good shows and doesn't make me marathon them.

Trapeze 6

Hey, that was a pretty good episo-

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Seriously, I liked it. It's nice that a lot of this mental illness seems conveniently surmountable in a 25 minute episode (and there are aspects of Dr. Fukuiichi's advice that seem in line with the weird way that Japan traditionally tiptoes around explaining a patient's illness to them), but that allows each episode to highlight the emotions at the root of each of these problems which anyone can relate to.

I like learning a little more about Mayumi, but it doesn't seem like they know how to actually draw her.

The Law of Ueki: 36

Sano's been pretty good about his strategy too. His use of the towels has been great, but his walking right past the guy with all those guns during his speech...lol. Team Ueki also
didn't grab puttin's cross...

She can flashstep! I wonder what ghetto brand of ki she's using to do all of that with.

The Law of Ueki: 38

I don't dig the way they just handed him the battle with that unexplained (well level 2 has been explained, but the explanation is that it 'comes whenever's its truly needed', lol), wholly, wholly convenient powerup, but he did employ some interesting tactics in the end, so I won't complain. It's time to get back to Ueki, what he'll need to do to beat Maraland should be interesting.

I don't think i posted about it here but Derpa 13 is great. Absolutely amazing.

Derpa had all the magic elements that makes a trashy show a financial success. It must some kind of cruel twist of fate that this moeblob show, of all the moeblob shows out there, had to fall flat on its face sales-wise.

There may be espers, but there is no God.

SHAFT is pretty much hit and miss in every area of their business - quality, direction, animation (mostly miss here of course), success and so forth.

Something seems off with that pic...But lol, go figure, the one flashback that almost makes the littlest sense of all resonates with me the most.

So she finally got her power, and it's the power of yuri!
