Can Youtube even SHOW 60 FPS play properly? I don't believe it can, or if it does it's in very high quality videos. EDIT: Confirmed above Figures.

Waiting on impressions. And likely reviews too, if it's good it's definitely a target for any Vita deals that may crop up.
 
This is driving me nuts, no one had any problem adding a credit card to their PSN account ? Can I do so from the web instead of using the Vita ?

Is there a legit site I can purchase PSN cards from at least ?
 
Gamestop doesn't have 32GB cards so I asked if they're getting them and the guy was like "uhh yea I guess, maybe"

If they don't have them when I go to pick the Vita up I'm gonna rage

Putting the address in all caps and the apt on line 1 fixed my issue a while ago
 
Just saw a post on the Ottawa area Kijiji; someone is selling their WiFi Vita (or trying to) for $400!!

Only had it for 1 day. Amazon Canada sent it early. If you want it before everyone else it 400$ or best offer. Futureshop or BestBuy gift cards will be considered.

It's definitely not nearly as good, but I was really pleasantly surprised at how close they managed to get it overall. More importantly, the seamless loading feature of the engine is still intact and the puzzles were fitted for traditional controls well enough.

Well, I'm not sure if they stock them normally at this point or will in general. I preordered one in store, and picked it up today. I did notice that the fake place cards on the shelves in the store only showed up to the 16GB card. I thought that kind of odd.

Well they had every other card in the store, and the guy was trying to sell me on an 8GB one. YEA RIGHT BUDDY.

Is that the US version? If it is then that needs to be added to the earlier list. That's excellent news as all 3 PSP games I've downloaded onto my PS3 are all good to go and no issue will be had.

I sold mine for $320, i wasnt looking to make a huge profit. I just decided to wait till tuesday since i get free uncharted with the FEB
 
Gamestop had most of what you'd expect in accessories. Headphones, Cradle, Crystal case, USB cable, Starter kit, Sony screen protector, Sony game case, some game folio binder book thing, and the most hideous thing possible. That Nerf brand case I posted pages ago. It's actually worse in person.

I can confirm that thing is absolutely hideous, more so in person. GS also has various games in stock and is already selling them along with accessories.

The manager of the local GS was telling me that the game demos vanished (not sure what he meant I didn't really follow up) on all local GS vitas within the district. He had no reason why.

Didn't really matter though since he had some games gutted already and let me mess around with retail Uncharted. The demo doesn't really do it any kind of justice.

Good. Use the real games instead of half-baked demoes.
 
So amazon doesn't offer release day shipping anymore on the first edition bundle. I put it up for one day shipping but it's showing estimated delivery time of Feb 17th. What are my chances of this shipping out on and arriving on the 15th? :(

Wouldn't that bind that retail copy to that store Vita? In any case, odd about the demos. The one in store I saw today had the demos on it.

They could just be protecting themselves by no longer promising it. It's a delivery estimate, not definite date. I cancelled my HSG order yesterday night at around 9PM to get it to come on the 13th. It came today by 5PM. You may still get it on time.
 
For some reason, WipEout 2048, which I preordered on Amazon with release date delivery on January 25th, has now changed to say estimated delivery is Thursday. What?! It was Tuesday!

Yea, their employees usually aren't too bright. I asked if they were still doing the $25 more trade credit on 3DS towards a Vita and this chick said no. Then as I was walking out there was a huge sign on the front glass saying "$25 extra when you trade your handhelds towards a Vita"

Maybe they'll offer credit? That's what I'm hoping if stuff fails to come Monday for me, but then I also won't get the system until the week after (and even if I got the FEB it'd be, what, two days more at worst? Ergo, the day I could soonest play ANYWAY?)

It's pretty sad. When I used to manage, or assistant manage under the EBGames name, and Gamestop name, all of the employees used to know what they were talking about. They were opinionated, and working there was like some odd exclusive club (kind of like the movie Empire Records", but, they always were accurate with what was said. Retail in general has gone so far down hill.
 
Fully paid off my FE bundle with Hot Shots and Lumines,and bought these since they already had them in stock,5 more days!!

Ordered one yesterday, but the code didn't arrive until this morning. Your experience may vary.
 
Did they say if they were patching online play in for Uncharted or something? If not then those Online Experience warnings are going to get REALLY obnoxious on Vita games going forward. But then it might be time for the ESRB to re-evaluate how to handle those, everyone's either seen them or filtered them out at this point so they could probably stuff them on the back under the content descriptors, especially with bilingual packaging bloating the fuck out of that.
 
Received my 32GB card from amazon today, wow the thing is tiny. I knew it was small but didn't realize how small until seeing it first hand. Literally the size of dime. So this is what a tiny 100 dollar purchase looks like!
 
On the plus side, my Vita cradle shipped. I wasn't going to get it, but having got a 3DS recently (which came with a cradle), I realized they're extremely nice to have. I find it way easier to make myself charge the thing when I just put it on the cradle.
