They said FIFA 13 will be entirely on par with the console versions, but no talk of any sort of save game sharing. Would be great to play with your virtual pro on the go though.

I would hope EA knows they will make a "fortune" if they include save sharing between both systems. Using the same Ultimate Team on the PS3 and Vita will make people go crazy and buy both versions of the game.

MLB 12 The Show already has that feature and it's safe to assume that most sports games will have them as well.

Has there been any talk of FIFA working in support for PS3<->Vita save game sharing? Are we likely going to have to wait for FIFA 13? It is so frustrating that such a simple feature has been left out. But then again FIFA on consoles still doesn't have online co-op after years of people begging for it.

What makes you assume it's simple?

Vita reviews are up on GamesRadar.

Everybody's Golf gets a 7 from GamesRadar.

Servers aren't even up for multiplayer on that game yet. Anyone that publishes a review today on the U.S. version of Hot Shots does their readers a disservice.

They said the multiplayer is great so they have obviously played it. They did import a Vita initially.

That's why I was careful to say "U.S. version." If it's an import review that's one thing, but just keep your eye out for any site publishing a Hot Shots Golf review today... they are dubious.

Anyone else bummed that Amazon is not really dishing out any deals on software or the system like they did with the 3DS release? Of course I wasn't expecting much but after getting $10 credit for every game I bought (I think it was a pre-order thing?), it ultimately made me buy more games.

They are, at least in Europe. MSRP will get you Vita + 8GB card + 15EUR off for selected titles, thus making one game be 25-30EUR.

I would assume it is the US version that has been reviewed but any multiplayer impressions would have come from the Japanese version. That's not exactly a huge deal but I see your point.

Well we found our controversial Uncharted review for Golden Abyss.

It helps that there isn't any sort of other experience like this available on the Vita right now, though even that is tempered by the game's $50 retail price tag. It's not especially difficult to find a copy of Uncharted 3 for somewhere around that price these days, and paying a price so close to the full console experience to get something that feels watered down and rough around the edges doesn't feel like a particularly good deal.

Seems that the price tag has been decisive in the score.

im sooooooooooo glad i pre ordered uncharted and fifa.

will def get motorstorm and superstardust from the ps store.

also got china town wars, will maybe get liberty city stories.

still on the fence about marvel vs capcom.

the console version is 18 pounds, vita version is wel 37.

which one should i buy?

Old? Super Stardust launch day DLC detailed:
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012...+(PlayStation.Blog)&utm_content=Google+Reader

Super Stardust Delta will be available for download at PS Vita’s launch for $9.99. On day one, you’ll also be able to download the Super Stardust Delta “Blast Pack” to pick up four additional game modes including Endless, Impact, Bomber and Twin Gun. The Blast Pack will be available separately on the PlayStation Store for $8.00. You’ll also be able to score the full game and the Blast Pack for just $14.99 if you choose to download them together in the “Interstellar Bundle.”

Good to know. I already bought it standalone :(

Wait a week or two. You'll know almost immediately how badly games are selling when retailers fall all over themselves to give you deals on buying more than 1 game. That's why I'm getting a Vita and just buying Stardust and Lumines, as well as playing numerous PSN-PSP titles. Uncharted, Hot Shots etc etc are all going to be on sale real quickly. I can wait.

No reviewer seems too happy about all the touchy touchy stuff either. Jeff tends to be harsh on bullshit stuff for the most part. It also doesn't help that it's $50.

Now I think about it, launching with an Uncharted might not be the best idea. Maybe a few years down the road when people are more familiar with the hardware, and maybe not so close to the bombastic uncharted 3.

With the portable tax (because all portable games are automatically complete shit according to reviewers), the reviews should be one to two points higher than this.

If they give Rayman less than what it scored on the consoles then it will prove my point of portable games rated lower automatically by reviewers.

A game with no multiplayer scoring less than the same game with 4p multiplayer will prove your point?
Don't be silly.

Sometimes they're discriminated against, but not necessarily. Depends on the writer. When the IGN reviewer manages to write "I don't want to sound hypercritical" and then gives Uncharted an 8.5, I feel they've given the game more than enough goodwill.

Rayman doesn't have multiplayer in it... it's the same game without the best part. It's going to be lower, but I don't think that's some condemnation of reviewers.

Well Rayman is missing co-op. Wouldn't be surprised if that = a few points lost.

Also I just read the SSD DLC stuff. That sucks for people who thought ahead. Luckily I was lazy and hadn't actually bothered to go get a PSN card to buy it.

Or you know maybe it's just because it has fewer features. I love Rayman on 360 because I can play at the same time as my wife and daughter. The fact that I can't on the Vita would drop the score dramatically for me.

SSD seems to be the runaway review darling. Well deserved from what I see.

Glad I didn't purchase it yet. Getting the bundle for sure.

I doubt you're on the majority side of the people. I doubt that many people plays it multiplayer.

Jeff also don't like "console experiences" on handhelds. In fact every Giant Bomb member feel the same way.

I don't mind giving Housemarque more money. iaintevenmad.gif.

...though I don't think I'll buy anymore vita titles on the store until launch. :p
