Guess he wants a statue at San Siro aswell.

Well you get about as much coefficients in Europa league, you are still a good bit above us. We had a much worse year than the Belgian teams.

Oh yeah just realized there's no Danish team left in the competition? I have no idea how far/close we are from that guaranteed CL spot right now but people were optimistic before this week since all 3 Belgian teams had performed pretty well in the group stage. Things don't look quite as good anymore, doubt any of them will reach the QF now.

Teams like stoke are a complete disgrace to english football. What an utter embarrasement. They should be playing the six nations instead. Bloody tosspots

Fights between Manu and Ajax fans in the Amsterdam red light district. Some bloke got twatted round the face with a police baton. Ouch.

Prostitutes and weed? fuck it let's fight!

Telegraph suggests Wenger is ready to sling some of the wasters.

Several prominent first-team members are now playing for their future, including Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and Andrei Arshavin, whose contracts expire over the next 18 months but have yet to secure new deals.

Arsenal will also consider offers for Marouane Chamakh and Sébastien Squillaci, who have barely featured this season, while other fringe players, such as Nicklas Bendtner, Carlos Vela, Denilson and Manuel Almunia, are finally expected to be sold.

Petit dit:

Emmanuel Petit, who helped Arsenal win the double in 1998, yesterday urged Wenger to get ruthless with serial underperformers. “I asked myself what has become of the team that I knew,” he said.

“It’s worse than I thought. It’s a gulf which is confirmed weekend after weekend.

“In midfield, there isn’t anything now, the defence is constantly under construction. It’s fortunate that Van Persie is up front.

“Certain young players haven’t done enough to justify the confidence that Arsène has in them. Walcott – somehow he’s going to have to reach the next stage. It’s been years that he’s been at the same level.

“Aaron Ramsey, against Milan, I got the impression it was his twin brother on the pitch. In the way they behave, in their body language, we see they’re not there anymore.
“You have to send out a strong signal. You have to say to Arshavin, and to Rosicky: 'Gentlemen, thank you, but goodbye’. And soon.”

He tweeted along with the picture:
Suarez said:
I want to say thanks for the great support that the Liverpool's fans have given me in these last days. I would like to say thanks again to fans of Ajax for what did today. As you know I am Uruguayan, and I defend the selection team, so I want to say thanks too the fans, players and managers of NACIONAL for their great support today! A million THANKS for everybody!

I'm glad he's back, he's a joy to watch. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

I just hope he can play with a smile on his face again, that's when he's a joy to watch, not when he's kicking balls away in frustration. He'll be smiling if we can lift the Carling Cup.

Hope so. He seems like a good lad just looses it on the pitch, needs to chill out a bit.

About time. Too many players that have been given chances to play for Arsenal and just throw it all away. The work rate of some of these players just drives me fucking insane.
