Hung out at the girl's house last night and met her parents. Dad is a Packer fan so I wore my Rodgers jersey, and I brought her mom some flowers to butter her up. Played with the cats for a bit, who apparently hate everyone else in the house but me. Then she and I got some Chinese takeout, watched Pan's Labyrinth, and banged. She told me later that her dad sleeps directly above her room and is a very light sleeper, so I hope he doesn't hate me. :p

I guess the only question on my mind is when I should bring up the idea of an exclusive relationship. We've been on five dates now and we're definitely having fun, but we're quite fond of one another as well, so I'm wondering when it'll be appropriate to ask her to be my girlfriend.

match.com was absolute rubbish and quite frankly I'm ashamed of myself for paying for such a thing.
 
Some people swear by online dating, but I've always had awful experiences with it. It attracts a certain type of girl that I'm not interested in.

I can elaborate:

Depending on where you live, online dating sites generally attract women that are mentally unstable, women that are overweight, women that have children, or women that are socially inept. That's why they're online. They can use technology to buy some time. I'm not interested in any of the things I just listed.

A vast majority of attractive, sexually active women do NOT have to use online dating sites. All they have to do is go to a coffee shop or a mall and wait for men to pick them up.
 
Generally you expose too much of yourself in online dating, which makes it easier for girls to reject you indirectly. It only works if you got your online skills perfected. It aint easy when you think about physical contact and bodylanguage is basically non-existant.

I did seduce a girl online once, right there and then cyber sexting, but that was through a forum.

Just leave her man. She isn't worth of your time. Or if you really want to be around her, like said, you need to change the roles so you are the one that she tries to catch, not the other way around. I wouldn't bother to do so, but if you feel like it, I would suggest highluxury's advices.

And what comes to that girlfriend question you were thinking about, you feel you seriously need to ask? If so, you have your ground work done and you have met her parents, so I would say you could ask any time you feel like it. Not strictly after sex though.

Alright, question girl-age. Am I off base to be upset and/or fed up with this?
Supposed to be going on a 2nd date (which btw has been a little over 2 weeks since the 1st) and we were supposed to go out last night. So I called her Wednesday night to finalize plans, no answer. Left a message, got no call back. Thursday around noon she texts me about meeting up that night, then changes it to saturday for a hike. Ok. So I texted her that yeah, sounds fine, well talk tonight and nail down the details. So I call last night and again no answer, leave a message and then nothing today.
So I'm thinking of texting her and just saying, ok whats the issue here, is it really that difficult to contact me back?
I'm only conflicted because she seems like a great girl, but I'm starting to get fed up with the lack of communication.

So stuff has been going well with this girl. Valentine's Day was a hit, I cooked dinner and she loved it. We've been hanging out almost every day. I had planned on seeing her on Saturday after hanging out with her on Wednesday, but she hit me up last night and wanted to go out, which was great. She's teaching me how to dance a lot better and with more variety.

I'm not being as intimate with her as the previous girl I was seeing, but for some reason I'm alright with it. We've had sex once, but we're being intimate in other ways from making out to her giving me an old fashioned to which she mentioned "it's one of her favorite things to do". My only quibble when it comes to us being intimate so far is she has kept her top on all the time and I'm a breast man myself. I don't even know how to broach a topic like that. For as much of a "free spirit" she says she is, she hasn't been free in that regard. I've told her how beautiful I think she is, but she just seems very guarded in that aspect.

I noticed that a lot of women seem to value their breasts over their vaginas. No idea why... this girl I nailed two weeks ago was all over me and we started having sex in my car, yet she wouldnt let me kiss her breasts. She barely even let me touch them. Really weird.

Yeah trust me I was realizing that in hindsight, but at the same time you'll often scare off a really shy girl if you try the normal PUA shit on her and try to get too physical too quick. I did a little bit by some hand-grabbing, but that was about it. But, it wasn't like we didn't flirt or the conversation didn't take sexual turns. Hell, at one point we were outright saying what made us attracted to the other.

Totally get what you're saying, though. Duly noted.
 
Any advice as to how to be more assertive? I always get trapped in a situation where it's like:

'where would you like to eat'

'what movie would you like to see'

etc.

and I make the mistake of saying "I'm pretty flexible, what sounds good to you?" and she takes the submissive route and wants me to decide, which I have trouble doing. Kind of fits into an overall need to be more decisive but I have trouble doing that because I always worry about which choice is best or if I should really go for asking this or that or grabbing her hand at this point or not etc.

Well, learned from the meetup that there's still some people who still seem to follow my progress with interest on here.

Of course, I mainly do not post here anymore because there is no progression. No fault of anyone or anything. Just me going through one of those periods where I become aloof and unconcerned about my social situation (mind becomes preoccupied thinking about other things, like employment and such). So, can't say much when I haven't put any effort into things.

Dunno when I'll get motivated or what could motivate me. At least, until I have a random mood swing one night when I begin cursing my solitude out of the blue.
