Can't spend your way out of trouble? have you looked at league tables recently? just couple of years ago, you would have been laughed at if you suggested city was going to win the league.

Arsenal are no longer a football club. It's just a business playground for folks who want to make money. No club with any sort of ambition would have tolerated this bullshit. certainly not for 7 friggin years.

Look. No body at the club wants to go through managers like chelsea or madrid does. But no body wants staleness and mediocrity either.

Yeah but Chelsea and City have shit loads of money. They throw that shit around like it's nothing. How long do you think that will last?

Just look at Chelsea right now. With all the money that has gone into the club, where are they right now? Are they going to be able to rebuild like this every few years?

Now I agree it does seem like Kroenke has no ambition for the club at all and he needs to start putting money into the club but lets not expect Arsenal to do what City and Real Madrid are doing.

i hate city but they are doing huge projects and long term investments. Building academies and huge training complexes. In such a short period of time, their revenue has pratically shot up from no where. That's what success does. Positive feedback. Next season if they get to champions league final they win mor revenue, more fans etc.

Whereas we are just in the doldrums. 4th spot is our amibition. Simply not good enough..

Chelsea are where they are because of Roman, with all the players they've bought they shouldn't need to rebuild. But they do, since he bought poor (older:ish) players for high fees. It also hasn't helped with his triggerhappy fingers on managers, resulting in lack of long-term strategy with signings.

Torres - £50m
Luiz - £26m
Ramires - £20m
Zhirkov - £18m
Bosingwa - £18m

To mention a few in the last two-three years. Not all of them are failures, but they have been big-money signings who haven't really proven their fees yet.

Ramires doesn't belong on that list. And Luiz has the potential to not be a joker if he's moved out of central defence.

Ramires is class. Doesn't belong on that list.

Yaya cost £20m, Ramires hasn't been as good as him and £20m is a high fee. For some reason I've never liked him.

Also I understand Luiz has talent, as I wrote underneath those are players that in my eyes haven't shown their worth yet. Obviously Torres some day can prove his value too, nothing is written in stone.

I bet you Yaya is getting a hell lot bigger salary too. Ramires is also 24 and still fairly young, Yaya is 28 and the best midfielder is the league who cost 12mil is 30 (Barry). Ramires has been a great buy and will easily be sold for the same amount of money later.

Such good points, you speak such sense, you - THE FUCK

Mourinho is my favourite man.

Yaya is around £150-160k a week, together with Tevez highest earner at City. Have no idea what Ramires makes though. It still doesn't matter since Yaya is the best midfielder in the league IMO, and Ramires has a lot of work to do to catch up with him. £20m is a lot for a player to perform at, maybe Ramires does that, IDK.
