Zeorymer is decent, I wasn't a huge fan of the ending but the same could be said of many anime that I have seen. Out of the two Macross Plus is probably the one you would want to watch first.

It's not great at all for a big movie based on a popular franchise. In general a successful anime movie should be able to sell 80-120k at least. Movie sales are generally expected to be higher because it is a one time investment rather than an on-going series, and that usually means a larger range of potential consumers.
Definitely bad on a whole, but for Hellsing Ultimate it is normal. The series doesn't sell much and that's what it does on average.
There is no first volume. It is being sold as a blu-ray season box coming out in March.

Goddamn, this anime is disturbing. The death at the beginning and the dream sequence were hard to watch. I still really love it though. I'm also glad MC and Mei aren't being ignored anymore. It's going to feel weird for there to be a beach episode right after all of the deaths we've seen.
Sunrise really went all out with voice casting, best part of the show.
What an interesting time to bring up Yuasa.

Dammit Master Higuchi. I had managed to derive this message in the previous episode without anyone having to say, "You know, this is the message of Tatami Galaxy," but then you have to come along and be like that.
Maybe it was inevitable that this would occur. The structure of the show has its limits, after all, and I'm kind of amazed it's gone on this long without completely and totally nosediving somewhere. With the possible exception of 6-8, each episode has found an original path to follow that gives a different perspective on the "rose-colored campus life" of the protagonist. And though they may all have lessons of one kind or another, I feel like, in general, I've been respected as a viewer, in terms of being given the freedom to draw my own conclusions.
So Higuchi popping up and doing that was pretty disappointing. And there's still two episodes to go. I may have to dial my expectations for the conclusion down a bit.

Maybe it's true that they really do need the girls as foils for the guys, since most of the guy-only skits this week were sort of weak. The zipper trick was pretty good though.

Afaik the novel or the manga don't have a beach chapter, so it could be just a daydream segment like the dancing in the class last week. And no one should die because the curse is only active in the village.
