My internet died when Lavezzi scored. Had to reset router :( You can see just when the goal goes in it starts to glitch.

How big of an upset would it be if Napoli ends up defeating Chelsea in this Champions League match? I'm not a huge soccer fanatic, but isn't Chelsea one of the higher tier soccer clubs?
Didn't you hear? Italian football is dead and the Premier League is the best league in the world. So a pretty big upset.
lulz

Napoli are a very strong side. I think they've demonstrated that enough recently, so for me it wouldn't be a shock. If you asked this like 5 years ago, Chelsea would be nailed on winners.

Pretty much. Napoli can be inconsistent, but they're a very good side.

Colombia's call-up for the match against Mexico:

Goalkeepers: David Ospina (Niza-FRA) y Luis Martínez (Once Caldas).

Defenders: Mario Yepes (Milan-ITA), Pablo Armero (Udinese-ITA), Camilo Zúñiga (Nápoli-ITA), Luis Amaranto Perea (Atlético de Madrid-ESP), Cristian Zapata (Villareal-ESP), Bernardo Espinosa (Racing Santander-ESP), Aquivaldo Mosquera (América-MEX).

Midfielders: Carlos Sánchez (Valenciennes-FRA), Abel Aguilar (Hércules-ESP), James Rodríguez (Oporto-POR), Juan Guillermo Cuadrado (Lecce-ITA), Elkin Soto (Mainz 05-ALE), Giovanni Moreno (Racing-ARG), Aldo Leao Ramírez (Morelia-MEX), Gustavo Bolívar (Deportes Tolima).

Forwards: Radamel Falcao García (Atlético de Madrid-ESP), Jackson Martínez (Jaguares-MEX), Teófilo Gutiérrez (Racing-ARG), Dayro Moreno (Once Caldas) y Dorlan Pabón (Atlético Nacional).

Looks... challenging? I'm excited.

Chelsea (and especially their defense) has been erratic to say the least all year with their manager rumored to be fired for months. Napoli has a great counter-attack with one of their strikers playing at a world-class level. It's one of those upsets you see coming.

I see. It's funny how I turned on the TV while eating my breakfast and Napoli was down 1-0 and in a span of a few minutes they come back and are now leading 2-1. Soccer, eh?

Well, I did have a friend from Argentina who used to be a big Chelsea fan. He'd skip lectures just to watch them play. But now his hype for the team has kinda died down.

Whats up with the Ramires hate? He's a very talented player and plays his position very well. He has his limitations but he gives everything he has when he plays.

He's similar to Lucas in that regard.

Falcao has been beasting in the La Liga, you guys will have to mark him out of the game!

I'm not getting it either. Ramires is one of the best in the Premier League, and Chelsea would be fucked without him (this season).

He scores some great goals too.

Except Lucas can pass, and is miles better defensively. He had until I think last week the most tackles and best tackle success rate in the PL, despite not even playing for the past two months!

Ramires gets up and down from box to box but he's got nothing in particular going for him. His passing and shooting are both poor, he doesn't have great dribbling skills, vision or graft. He's an all-rounder but not a great one.

5 - Edinson Cavani has scored five goals from six shots on target in the Champions League this season. Deadly.

Amazing.

I'd say "questo non mangia il panettone" but he survived the christmas/new year festivities, so ... "questo non vede la primavera"? :D

song and diaby are better than him and that's saying something

Song is a better defensive midfielder, no doubt, not really Ramires primary position though. Diaby? Now you are just making a fool of yourself, not that you haven't done that enough already with your "MERCENARIEEEES!!!" bullshit.

Isn't Lucas our best passer statistically this season anyways?

I'm wondering, what caused Italy to lose the 4th position for champs league qualification?

God forbid, what would it take for the same to happen in England?
Italian club don't give a fuck about Europe League (not enough money to be made).

Sorry if it sounds like "hate." I don't hate Ramires in fact I quite like him. Works hard and seems a good man.

I just think if we're putting him in, say, the top 10 PL midfielders, he's barely making it in that list.

Did I hear Souness correctly, did he say Napoli can't defend?

They have been defensively shit today. Given Chelsea loads of space and sloppy under high balls. Both teams look weak at the back, the difference is that Napoli have a world class front 3, Chelsea don't.

Ramires is a hard worker and has a good engine but technically he is nothing special. He's like Palacios when he first came to Spurs.

diaby is technically better than ramires. good touch, can dribble and better passing range.

problem with diaby is he's worthless most of the time because he's always friggin injured
