I'm not sure how to feel about this. On one hand, I think I've seen enough. On the other, my experience was incomplete. Damn you ye olde GAF, and your accursed knowledge.

It tends to vary from episode to episode in terms of how fast paced the humor is. That episode is very much a more high energy episode. If you liked that episode you should be good to go on the series I think, and as a bonus the season finale has some really sweet sakuga action.

Katanagatari was probably more visually competent than Steins, at least from what little I saw of Steins anyway. This manga art is nice, hope it transitions well.
 
All this time I was trying to figure out what Brain's Base was doing after Natsume and it was right in front of me, huh. I suppose that's what I get for relying on English Wikipedia and ignoring all the news articles about Sengoku Collection.

Batman: Gotham Knight

Have I Got a Story for You was clearly the standout short in all of this.
The way in which the depiction of Batman was radically different depending on the kids interpretation of what they saw, all of which highlighted a key aspects of Batman's dominance only to unveil the whole sum of Batman's parts at the end
was absolutely brilliant.

I also enjoyed In Darkness Dwells and Working Through Pain quite a bit but I really didn't care all that much for the rest.
The final scene of Working Through Pain where Batman, holding onto all the guns from the sewer whilst muttering "I can't" makes it clear the pain is the complete and utter futility of his actions to clean up Gotham and his struggle to come to terms with that rather arduous fact.

Jormungand -modern warfare action anime...sounds good, I like white fox so far but I have zero faith in them when it comes to animating actions scenes after katanagari.
Saint seiya omega –action anime by Toei am in(hopefuly it's more lost canvas and less old one)
Space bro- sounds like plantes but with bros in space sounds great

Steins;Gate 25 (OVA)

So yeah, that was alright. Nothing spectacular, but that's fine given the scenario they had to work with. A fun little bonus episode with plenty of humor throughout, Mamoru Miyano hamming it up gloriously, and
enough Okabe/Kurisu scenes to keep me happy. Still one of my favorite anime couples

I love how you add the word "fairly" after "is" I blame a certain character and the numerous bath scenes, for making people so cynical about what this show is really implying at times.

not gonna lie the ending got me all giddy like a little girl. Okabe/Kurisu are such a great couple.

That was a pretty fun episode though. Nothing amazing in comparison to the rest of the series but it was definitely enjoyable.

That is not news I wanted to see at 6 AM. Ugh my three years of following this anime every tuesday or so, Ill miss it. Hopefully viz keeps dubbing.

I fear it going the way of Reborn and not ever getting subsequent arcs animated. It was on a role with the best animated fights.

You must not have watched the first season, or you'd know that already. It is indeed an often very funny comedy series, so now that you know how good it is, go back and watch S1 now! It might fill in the time while we wait for more of S2...

I don't like the main character designs, but I do like the designs for the ancillary characters and the exaggerated art. There was one guy in particular who had some awesome faces:

Do that, for sure. Season 1 is every bit as good as episode 3 of S2 on average, and almost all of the S1 eps are better than S2 eps 1 or 2.

As for the art, I think the normal art is fine, but it is interesting when they mix things up a bit for some parts. When the art's completely different it definitely can add to the impact of the joke.

Because apparently everyone's watching Blood-C and School Days now, and I'd already bothered to look up the initial reactions to the former to compare them to Ultimadrago's wild reaction. It wasn't terribly hard to find either.
Plus I'm bored as hell, and it was amusing to compare the state of AnimeGAF back in mid-2007 to how it is now.
I'll lay off browsing the archives if people are disturbed by it.

Nah it's ok I'm fine with. Worst part is I went in watching school days without knowing what it is,thinking it as some cliche romance. The horror....

Kare Kano

Episode 11-13

Some nice episodes revolving around Yukino's new friends while Arima is away for the summer. I'm glad she's got them to keep her company while he's gone. They're all pretty interesting characters and I feel kinda bad for Maho since it feels like she's just being dragged around with them. I really didn't like Tsubasa's character at first but the story revolving her family was honestly really heartwarming by the end. I was happy to see how it all unfolded.

Also it seems like she's getting tinier and tinier with each episode.

Episodes 14-15

Ugh two recap episodes? Well one and a half I guess.

Episode 16

Oh man. Yukino's dad is awesome. ;_;

I tried to watch Milky Holmes 2, but I didn't enjoy the first 2 episodes at all, is the third really that much better?

Depends what you are after, but I'm inclined to say yes - it goes well beyond being goofy into being utterly insane.

Saying that, whilst the episodes that have followed were at least better than the first two, it's not been as amusing as the third episode again.

What I don't get about that, is that they practically
reset Arima's innocence
after the fact, which made me think "what was the point".
