Is this the bit where GAF pretends United are shit and weren't without the vast majority of there first choice team & several reserve players as well and had to play a 2nd/3rd string team?

i dunno man, when we have iniesta level players like cleverly in our second and third string we should be doing better.

Great, the smurfs have scored the winning goal (as I don't think Pilsen can come back).
But now I'm sure their exhausted asses will lose vs. Bayern on Sunday.

The nose dive in Premier League teams European performances this year has been astonishing.

Easy to explain. Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd are all in somewhat of a transitional period. I know people might not view Man Utd in this way but you only have to look at the back five to see this. Evra has turned to shit, VDS retired and Ferdinand and Vidic cant stay fit.

Why is Sir Alex in quotations? He doesn't have a fake name.

Mentalist reasons.

Quite simple really. Because he is a cunt :)

This Yanited side are just average, certainly nothing like they used to be. Just exposes how piss poor the league is these days.

If every 2nd/3rd choice player was as good as Cleverely tonight then you would be out of the Europa league. ''Sir Alex'' agreed.
Sir Alex said Cleverley was shit? Must have missed that. Cleverley played some great passes, very rarely gave the ball away and had a shot well saved.

Good win tonight. We did exactly what we wanted to; score early and contain. Well done to the boys and especially Roy Carroll who made 3 fantastic saves and played with a hamstring injury from 65 and on.

Bring on Metalist.

Really? Our attack was wonderful but our midfield didn't touch it.

Better attack and better defence. Always felt the old side was all bluff and buster, losing to them felt like the Arsenal side playing them hadn't bothered trying hard enough. 2007-2008 side was genuinely shit yourself scary.

Not the first time an injury has kept him out though is it? Didn't he miss a lot of last season too?

League appearances for MUFC.

2005–06 11
2006–07 25
2007–08 32
2008–09 34
2009–10 24
2010–11 35
2011–12 6

I'll definitely give you Evra's decreasing usefulness, Ferdinand's shaky fitness and VDS being a big loss.
