Nope, Doujin Crown is beyond hope. I'm watching to see just how bad the crash ends up. XD
What I'm dreading now is that it's going to end on a whimper rather than a glorious crash. =(
This is probably the only thing keeping me sane while watching at this point.
I hope Shu becomes a shoe because he'll get transformed into his Void and we'll find out he was beaten as a child with a shoe to near-death.

I thought Yasako's dream sequence with her grandfather was particularly well done, as it built so well of the previous flashback, changing entirely the meaning of what was shown.

linked hearts, passionate gazes, intertwined fingers, cherry blossoms, etc
I do...but its hard resist having someone watch School Days.
Dennou Coil is actually one of my all time favorite anime though, so I do love seeing other people watch and enjoy it.

I'm fairly certain I watched this once and forgot about it because it was so bad only to remember my first viewing upon catching it later on netflix. I suppose this is what having a repressed memory feels like.

As DiGiKerot mentioned above, yeah. Still, part of ROD's charm was in how silly it was--all this new stuff sounds too srs business to me.

So, the RNG deemed that I start this next show for better or worse.
Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai 00
I watched too much SZS, since I kept expecting the girls to go axe crazy on male lead, but seeing them faint from hot pot is a welcome punchline.
I was kinda thinking if I should have started from episode 1 or from this OAV, seeing as how it threw me into it with a beach episode but, I am ok with watching this first, after what happened in the end. It wasn't terrible, but I am certain it is too early to actually judge this series from a 7 minute OAV. But, it can't be that terrible, can it?

Yeah, the OAV doesn't really do the show much service. Granted, it doesn't get incredibly better but I liked the show for what it was.

Anyone else watch High School DXD? So much fan-service. The story is alright, but I really want to punch Issei in the face whenever he mentions becoming a harem king. Having him be a pervert I am OK with, but the harem thing is too far. Kills any support I have for that character.

Also, just finished up the Croc arc in One Piece. I don't get why the dozen eps long fight between croc and luffy can keep me interested, but stuff like dbz can't anymore. Might be because they do a hell lot of parallel cuts to other stuff.
Speaking of which, got 2 shows on my mind I wanna watch. Milky Holmes and Natsume Yuujinchou
What's gaf's opinion on these shows?
That box is way too short to say Yukimura.

The former is a pretty funny comedy in an off the wall retarded sort of way. The latter is a very good slice of life show involving a boy and his round pig cat thing (+ youkai).

Guilty Crown 18: I don't know Haruka, your son just got his arm chopped off and has lost all sorts of things and this is better than the path of the king? I did like how the terrible trio of Shu's former guard got their voids fused into a missile. Pretty good shit there Gai. Inori going beast mode in the end was hilarious. Just four more episodes to go. I should just go watch some more Cardfight Vanguard instead (which has milky holmes cameos).

This was a really fun episode, and even more fun than I remember it in the game.

I'm kinda curious where they're gonna end it now. It's looking more and more that they're not gonna do the true end, though I guess right now it's still feasible.

So it looks like they're going to cover all ten chapters of this arc in three episodes. I guess that pacing will work, I just hope they can do a good job with the important scenes. They already cut some of the better parts from the first third of the story.
I don't mean to sound overly pessimistic about it; it's just that this is the one of the most important story arcs in the manga and I wish they'd put more effort into accurately adapting it.
