It's not enough for both Sessions and Beasley though, right? At least the FO is prioritizing the right position.

Correct. The trade exception the Lakers own is for $8.9M. Beasley earns $6.2M, Sessions $4.2M. So they could go after Sessions and see if the remaining $4.7M exception could net them anything or take Beasley and have little left.

Assuming they want to deal with the tax implications of any moves like this.

Kyrie definitely got the memo. Too bad Scott is going to sabotage the team with his stupid rotations.

Why is Samardo in the game so quickly?

Clipper Darrell, who wears a ridiculously awesome (or awesomely ridiculous) blue-and-red suit and once organized a fan demonstration to woo LeBron James to Staples Center, is quite possibly the loudest and most passionate superfan in the NBA. This year, with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin leading the team to legitimate championship contention, he's finally seeing results on the court.
Most teams, given this situation, would celebrate their good fortune with their biggest fans, and possibly even reward them for years of loyalty. However, the Clippers operate by different rules. And so, in a move that makes very little sense to any observers, they've asked Clipper Darrell to drop the team association from his name and stop doing interviews related to the franchise. From Marcus Vanderberg for FishbowlLA.com:

...

UPDATE: The Clippers, for their part, have released a statement claiming no wrongdoing — legal, moral, or otherwise. It is full of phrases like "No good deed goes unpunished" and "He is not actually a fan of the Clippers, but a fan of what he can make off the Clippers." Stay classy, guys.

Stay classy, Sterling.

Jamison is almost as bad as Diaw

He's so bad, attempting finger rolls from like 15 feet. Yet he averages the most minutes of everyone on the roster.

My friends and I have a theory that he has some sick blackmail materials on Byron Scott. It's the only explanation.

Doesn't he have one foot out the door already? I heard someone in the Bobcats org asked him if he wanted to be an allstar and he said he didn't care.

Diaw never cared about basketball. Everyone thought he was more talented than Parker, back in the day here in France. He was not trying and he was head and shoulders above Pietrus and others. He knew that. He's been smug forever, had it too easy too early.

Silas asked him

and its been confirmed that Diaw thought about retiring during the offseason

Has anyone felt like Diaw has given a shit since the suns traded him?

I interviewed him a few times seven years ago, would spend some time with the national team, before and during his best season. He did not give a shit at the time either, he just was too talented. It really is a sad story. Guy never wanted to be better than Tony Parker, but in some weird way he was.

I assume Roddy would have to be included in the trade. The salaries don't even work just with Odom.

How are you actually entertaining the idea that Phoenix would trade Nash for anything, let alone Odom, or a combination of Odom / Roddy to the Mavs?

First you think you're getting Dwight and Deron and now you think Phoenix might actually trade Nash to you guys for Odom?

You can never again criticize any Knicks / Lakers fan for any far fetched trade idea

Nash is going to walk in the summer unless he really doesn't care about winning.

At least he has a link.

None of that "We only get Nash, Dwight, and two first round picks for Luke, Ebanks, and Bynum? Eh... I guess that's okay. Would've liked to get Blake Griffin too so he could come off the bench."
