Lets go Pacers, was at the clinching game against the Bucks and plan on catching some of the ECF in Indy

Such a great venue to watch an NBA game.

Denver demolished. I forgot the game was on in the afternoon. So I caught it in the 4th when it was already over. Looking at the boxscore it looks like Denver did fine in Q1. There were winning. But collapse Q2/Q3, then even dropped further during garbage time for bench players.

When you look at the stats, all 5 starters on each team didn't even trend similar It looks like some of their bench guys made a big difference too. Like this:

Alex Caruso 26 min, +40!

Westbrook 22 min, -34!

Blow. Out. lol

Super excited for OKC / Minnesota. These are two young, physical basketball teams.
SGA vs. Anthony Edwards ..

It should be a banger!

🏀

Props to Gordon for gutting that out. Denver went to shit when he got his first rest. MPJ and his contract are atrocious and will probably limit Joker's ability to win another title with Denver. I hope Minny wins it all but I think that would be the most surprising outcome. Anyone but OKC.

OKC has been incredibly dominant in their wins.
I can't see this series going past 6 games.

Based on what I've seen OKC has a 90% chance of winning the nba championship, timberwolves are pretty much dead, Indy/ny probably aren't winning, who knows will be injured in that bloodbath through 7 games.

I really want Wolves/Pacers, but the refs gonna force OKC through without even making it seem like they aren't blowing the whistles one way. Let stars become superstars based off their play, not the calls. Wolves played like hot ass in game 1, but doesn't excuse the insane reffing they are giving SGA

Imagine being a Mavs fan having lost both Jalen Brunson and Luka Doncic, lol

Ah, at least we get Cooper Flagg, so ..
The celtics are gonna trade you porzingis's mono infested body along with jaylen brown for Cooper flagg and whatever salary to even it out. Cause nico is brain dead and brad Stevens is a genius.

But seriously, did Nico lose a card game to rob plinka and owe him Luka? There's been way too many sketchy trades over the years in the nba; that's why people believe in conspiracies about the league.

To be fair, Luka allows himself to be a bit of a fat ass.

I still love the guy, but he really needs to start taking his conditioning seriously given he's in the prime of his career.

Losing Luka was tough, bet hey, it's time to raise the Flagg and move on, lol

I dont follow Wolves, but anyone know why Rudy Gobert has been junk all playoffs. His reg season stats are decent. He'll get some pts and tons of rebounds. In playoffs, his scoring dried up to almost zero and his rebounds are down too despite that giant Lakers game.

He tanking, or Wolves just not using him right?

Noticed it since I'd take Gobert in some sports bets in reg season and he was fine. Killed some of my early playoff tix and I never bothered taking him again. And he's still tanking.

Pacers actually gonna do it. dam

Long way to go. I think whoever wins game 4, wins the series. Indy has the coaching advantage, but Rick needs to stop fucking around with the Thomas Bryant minutes and let Toppin soak those up. Toppin is good for a few mistakes, but he usually makes twice as many good plays with his hustle and energy.

I agree with you whoever wins G4 wins the Series

Downtown Indy has a lot of Pacer geared people walking around.

Will be attending G4 and 6

Edit - Can't make it to G7 if it goes that far, have other commitments and can't make it out to OKC so hopefully it ends in 6 (or less)

Both teams are solid, SGA is a little bit older than Hally, and SGA's offensive onslaught is scary and almost Kobe like. Thunder in 7.

This years finals looks like it will be the second least watched finals ever, only doing better than the bubble finals.

That isn't indicative of the quality of the teams or games, just that small market teams made it. It's been a fun finals to watch.

Quality and fun? Sure. But people watch the NBA for big names. Unfortunately for the stars on both teams, who are great, they are not household names, like Steph Curry. The NBA has done a poor job getting their stars from smaller market teams to be as recognized as they should be. There's no excitement when hearing these teams were going to be matched against each other in the finals.

In that sense, Plies Plies was right when saying "This is the worst NBA finals matchup in history." Outside the bubble finals, of course.

Wonderful. Ratings obliviously isn't what he was talking about nor do ratings any bearing on my enjoyment so I'll stick with my sentiment. NBA finals ratings are going to be rough for a while as OKC will probably represent the Western conference for the foreseeable future.

That's exactly what I was talking about. Don't ever speak for me, you busted down boomer bot.

Two smaller market teams is a ratings nightmare.

As far as actual enjoyment, it's been ok. I'm loving the future of the NBA go at it in the championship round.

I wonder how long until SGA and Haliburton make their way to the Lakers, lol 🎊

Edit - watching Rick Carlisle adding to his legend has also been amazing. He brought the Mavs their only championship, so the dude's ok with me. 👍
