I know what the Pats need but I have no idea who they'll take.I had no idea they would take O lineman last year.

if manning gets into a shouting match with Bush then it's worth it for that alone.

Manning to Miami makes perfect sense for the franchise. Remember those pictures of the half-empty stadium last year? Manning brings those people back.
 
Between the where is Peyton going and the who is going to trade up to #2 talk, this should be a fun time leading up to the draft.

Speaking of which, should the Rams try to trade before free agency begins so that they can have the most teams bidding against each other, or after when teams will become more desperate?

I think they have to before FA. What if the Redskins get Manning, then the Browns might offer less since they dont have to worry about the skins trading for #2.

Why would any team agree with St. Louis right now? They will just end up paying more now than they will after free agency starts. The only exception I could see to this is Dan Snyder going crazy now because he knows he can't outbid Cleveland closer to the draft.

I don't think there is anyway that Cleveland agrees to trade before draft day. Oh, and another Steeler bites the dust. Farrior gone too.
 
I'm going to start collecting names for people that want to participate. I'll do it like last year: I won't assume you're in unless you tell me. It should be considered a consensus pick - team members should collaborate to choose someone instead of one just blurting out their pick. My daughter is impatient and owns my iPad, so i'm going to be less patient in waiting; say, four hours selection time per team. You don't make the time, you get skipped.

No. Because we don't have anything to trade and it gets messy. Rams age should just try to determine who gets drafted with the Rams pick. Also, let's keep the regulars to their teams for now. We'll fill it out once the main ones are complete.

b/c if you trade for Griffin before FA you remove the uncertainty of the draft. The Browns and Redskins, if they don't get Manning or Flynn, then face the chance of getting in a bidding war on draft day. Trade for him now, and you can move on to other needs right away.

I doubt the Rams trade the pick early, for the reason I mentioned. Why not wait and see who is desperate on draft day?

Hopefully this means we'll be able to resign Carlos Rogers. Anyone know what the Niners' cap situation is like? The remaining players that can be resigned are Ginn Jr, Alex Smith, Josh Morgan and Adam Snyder. Smith is going to be resigned but truth be told, I'd hate to see Snyder, Morgan or Ginn (please no more Kyle Williams returning punts) to leave

This is bullshit. I can't find a new Orioles jersey to get for this season. Where the fuck can I get a Mickey Tettleton, Gregg Olsen, Joe Orsulak or Chris Hoiles jersey?

I only wear jerseys of guys who are not the stars. That's why my Ravens jersey are Eric Turner and Tony Siragusa (the Goose jersey is great to piss off my local Raiders fans)

That's true for any QB we pick up (except maybe RGIII), I think our biggest need outside of QB is a nickelback. I hope we sign Manning and draft Fitzpatrick, the top CB from Alabama. After that all we have to deal with is OLine. One more passrusher would always be nice too but it's not as big of a need with Wake and an improving secondary. FS could be considered a need too but I think Jones and Clemons stepped it up towards the end of last season and will do fine.
