So ahh...should we expect any megatons from Nintendo at GDC?

I didn't realize GDC was only days away. Should we expect anything WiiU related? New 3DS games or release date announcements?

I want to get on a hype train and ride it hard.
 
WiiU will be E3's main dish so I'm not expecting anything besides some 3DS games we already know and maybe, maybe a reel of upcoming games

Well anyway, No. "Nintendo" isn't holding a conference this year.
 
No. They already covered things with Nintendo Direct.

That being said watch for 3rd party announcements especially regarding engines and stuff as that could have an effect on the Wii-U.

Remember, as exciting as GDC is, it's not really for you or me. It's for developers. There should be a lot of back room talking and potential collaborations being struck up but we wont necessarily hear any of it. We might get lucky and someone might leak info but that will of course be labeled as a rumor and not an official statement. Nintendo might also officially reveal some news at the event but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Nice booth, but I think it will be mostly 3DS related.
 
You should be in a constant state of expecting megatons from Nintendo. If your body isn't always ready, how will you survive one on the off chance that it actually arrives?
 
There's gonna be a panel with a few Western mid-tier 3DS devs talking about wireless/online stuff - Renegade Kid, n-Space, others.
 
Mario is Missing 3D Classic. Bring on the edutainment, now with 50% more D for todays more demanding public.

But in all honesty I would kill for them to state Paper Mario 3D is releasing early summer, though I know it won't be. D:
 
Supposedly Crytek is showing some Wii U demo behind closed doors. I imagine there will probably some other NDA stuff like that too. I'm not really expecting anything new from their booth.

There's a big difference between being there and holding a conference. Remember GDC is about the developers and publishers themselves not consumers. Nintendo will be there to network and negotiate deals with other devs and publishers. Only two Nintendo Employees will be making an on stage appearance but they're devs not executives so they'll be talking for themselves not the company as a whole.
 
The only things I'm really expecting are a few new 3DS trailers and release dates for Paper Mario 3DS and the new Animal Crossing. I won't be surprised if we don't get that, though.

Obviously they're going to announce a launch title Starfox game set in the Lylat Wars, which is an MMO that plays like the X-Wing games of old.
 
They usually announce or reveal something. And it's usually Mario or Zelda related. I'm thinking they could either officially announce New Super Mario Bros 3(TANOOKI TAIL)DS or Zelda 3DS.
