Wallace is a speedster and won't go to a noodle arm/limp dick qb like Alex. Niner receivers are not expected to go deep, they are just expected to block and be nice to Alex (I hear he is very sensitive).

Mike is going to stay in Pitt where he has Ben's rocket arm.

Though if he foolishly leaves it seems we should be able to replace him in two years the way we draft receivers.

Yeah, I can't wait for it to start back up. Read the books in the fall, loved them. Started Dance with Dragons but couldn't get into it, something feels off the first 100 pages or so. A few of the oft repeated lines get tired quickly.

You might be right that he is gone but the Steelers are not cheap and usually resign guys. They just don't spend or believe in FA. You can't argue with the results. We have fielded a lot of good teams in the past 20+ years. How many other teams can say that?

I don't think they're equal. One is only heinous in the context of the rules of the sport. The other additionally concerns the health of other players, which IMO is a step beyond just trying to circumvent the rules.

I'm pretty sure players are out to hurt certain franchise players within the confines of the play regardless of incentives.

But there are deliberate, hard, vicious hits in the NFL every week that don't require the added motivation of a bounty. You're right in that it's all about the perception though.
