"5-megapixel backside illuminated sensor on the back, 5-element lens, IR filter, and ISP built into the A5X chip."

whoa

So the A5X is sort of quad core, and it's quad core in the GPU aka the part that matters. This solves my only worry I really had which was the fact that this screen res is even a million more pixels than 1080p so I wasn't sure a beefed up dual core was going to cut it.

Dude, Apple is conferencing it big this time around. Very little fluff...straight into the announcements.

Great pacing so far.

Alright, I'll probably buy one. I'm hoping it has some crazy cool new feature besides the screen and quad-core (as great as those are).

wow, it even destroys Tegra 3? Which isn't even really out yet?

...oh crap. transformers and hypothetical google tablets preemptively owned until 2013?

Very interesting that they are naming the camera an 'iSight' now. Further pushing the focus to features on a specific iPad and away from laptops/desktops.

camera is better than I expected. I thought it would be 3GS caliber.

at least this good enough to take a pic and not look like garbage on the screen

iSight.

Oh Apple...

Why do you disapprove? Apple has been very successful in taking technology that is generally unapproachable by the masses and attaching cute names to it to make it more approachable.

Quad Core Graphics does not mean Quad Core Processor? Someone correct me?

CPU and GPU might have different numbers. The resolution really needs that GPU though, more than a quad-core CPU necessarily, so that is a relief.
