I'm looking at this picture on my iPad 2. Kind of defeats the purpose I guess, like when television companies showcase their awesome new TVs with bright colors and resolution and stuff in commercials. Well guess what, the picture already looks awesome on the tv I'm watching it on. Bam!

32GB wifi in white. Already have my 64GB 4S and will basically be using the ipad to browse, email and play a few games. Maybe watch a movie, but I'll probably use netflix on it as well. Oh and read comics for sure.

How screwed am I if I'm gonna go with just the 16gb model? I don't plan on loading the thing up with tons of music or photos. I've always more than managed with my 16gb iPhones.

I just don't feel like spending the extra $100 if I don't have to, but I fear the retina display and associated graphic intensive photos/apps will mean more storage is necessary for the same types of user behavior?

well for something to be revolutionary id say much more...quad-core is already out on transformer prime and other tablets/phones...the resolution bump remains to be seen on playing games, it better have a good gpu otherwise it will stutter like hell...

apps like Air Video really eliminate the need for the extra space except for in certain circumstances.

Keep in mind, a lot of apps, comics, pictures, etc will look like garbage on this thing. Until apps and comics and all that are updated to match and, in the case of comics, exceed the resolution, it's not going to be a pretty sight.

But when your favorite material gets updated...my oh my we're in for a treat.
