The resolution is one thing but I want to see a proper graphical comparison before I award the "most powerful console" award to the new iPad. I think we've all learned to be weary of conference marketing talk at this point, not just Apple's.

of course it isn't the most powerful console. Just has more ram. Apple are very careful to selectively quote when it suits them.

The GPU is the same as Vita, but doesn't have (probably) dedicated VRAM like the vita. CPU has half the cores of the Vita. and it has significantly more pixels to draw - Vita is basically iphone 4S res.

Vita is supposed to to be a little behind PS3, so ipad will be behind that.

but it has more memory than PS3/360
and higher resolution

therefore in apples mind that is better.

Only phone companies can be so stupid and have such a tin ear towards their consumers and stay in business.

Under that plan, why would you ever buy the $50 plan? Might as well buy the $30 plan and just pay the overage...it's the same price.

I have a white iPhone 4. Love it. I have a black iPad 2 16GB 3G. I prefer the iPad in black, it just looks more professional and classy.

My GF has the white iPad 2 and loves it. It's just preference I guess.

I think I'm sold on a 32 gb wifi. I currently have a 64 gb wifi IPad 1 and just checked and I have over 40 gb of space left, so while the 64 gb is tempting again I doubt I will get anywhere near using it all.

Keep in mind, a lot of apps, comics, pictures, etc will look like garbage on this thing. Until apps and comics and all that are updated to match and, in the case of comics, exceed the resolution, it's not going to be a pretty sight.

But when your favorite material gets updated...my oh my we're in for a treat.

That's what I'm thinking. I'll wait for the next ipad to work out all the kinks and get updated software, till then my 2 will have to do.

im thinking of going with the white 32GB wifi model, but im wondering if i will even need more than 16GB because I dont plan on storing music on it and thats what uses up most of the space on my iPhone. Will the apps that take advantage of the new resolution be significantly bigger?

Pull your pdfs to iTunes, it should appear there.

So I would just drag and drop my directory of books into iTunes (pdf,.txt). Can you make folders (aka directories) in iBooks?
