Deciding between 16 or 32, what's the filesize like on apps, particularly games, and are they re-downloadable?

Once you purchase an App, it is yours whether it is on your idevice or not. If it is a game, it will save your progress to the iCloud.

So, what's the point of an iPad and all of this pandemonium going on? Not as powerful as a gaming pc but not as convenient as an iPhone because of size...

Wat. I loves me some apple products but I guess I don't see a need for a tablet personally.

The White iPad is a lot better for browsing the web and reading because the white backgrounds blend together so perfectly. Also it makes colors more vibrant looking and even makes black stand out more. After playing with the white iPad I now think the black bezel is an eyesore. Also, I hate how every company and their brother makes phones/tablets with black bezels its become boring and lame now. White, while just a color change, makes the product feel much more inspired, creative and unique. Im probably gonna get heat for this but I I just feel that black bezels to me is for boring old businesspeople who are insecure with themselves.

Aussies: Apparently 4G is no good here. The only 4G network (Telstra) runs on a band that isn't supported by the new iPad.

Bit dissapointing, I guess.

Definitely picking up an Apple TV and I'm thinking about an iPad too. Currently rocking a netbook, but I think I can comfortable go "post-PC" now that iCloud supports movies. Couple of questions though;

PC or Mac isn't required for Apple TV or an iPad, right?

There are some 1gb games, including Infinity Blade. You can re-download them, fast, but it's annoying imo.

Looking at the new Infinity Blade... what is it going to be? 3?

The only thing I really want from iOS on the iPad is all the apps the iPhone has that the iPad doesn't for some stupid as shit reason. Clock, Weather, Stocks and Voice Memo. There's no reason to not have them on a device they're trying to make into a "post-PC" device.

Add to that Stocks and the notification center "widgets"

I'm having a little better luck w/ the store over appstore app...... oh wait, there it goes blanking out on me again.

This is my first time preordering. If I get the page to load, does "preorder" automatically mean delivery from the online store, or can you select to pick up from your local Apple Store later in the process? Or is store pickup a separate link? Thanks!

Edit: UK Apple store has gone back to the "Be back soon" page from before the event.

I'm probably just going to order it casually and let it arrive when it does instead of bothering with the rush. It was much easier last year because they set an order date and an arrival date further in the future so there was no big rush. I went to the store on the order date, got myself a ticket and came in on the arrival date and stood in line according to my number and got my iPad with no problems. Plus I got to talk with all the cool hipster Apple fanboys in line too. So that was cool.

Seriously though, it was much easier. I'll just wait a day or two. No big deal. I don't NEED this immediately. But I WILL be getting it.

Live with one for a week.

God damnit... I can't decide if I wait for the inevitable 4G iPhone to tether or get a 4G iPad now.

FUCK FUCK FUCK

Cool post, bro. However, you are about 2 years and 9 billion ipads sold late to this discussion.
