So where did this spoiler come from, do we really know it's real? I'm kind of dubious of it since I think we would have heard about Michonne being cast. Also that leak guy said he wasn't gonna do it for the finale.

Sounds like an exciting finale although nobody real actually dies. Reading it I was hoping Andrea would. I am glad they seem to be keeping Hershel around though.

Finally, I'm sure I'll be lambasted for this but as a non comic reader Michonne on paper sounds like a horrible character.
 
Oh my God.. if those spoilers are all true, then Mazzara is the best thing ever to happen to this show. More action in those spoilers than I could have imagined.
 
Wow... those finale spoilers are awesome! I hope its true b/c that sounds like the episode will be jam-packed with action!! Can't wait until Sunday.
 
Given how they've been sourced compared to other spoilers from recent weeks you can pretty much take them to the bank. That's our finale.
 
I am so glad the Carol/Daryl thing was a foiler. You have no idea. That would have been the last straw for me.

Really looking forward to seeing Michonne.

I think that would be amazing but I imagine half of GAF will have a fit if that is true since a lot of folks on GAF hate her on True Blood. Guess that also confirms the fate of Tara on that show.
 
You do realize that they may cheap out and just have her wearing the hood this week and not see her face.

Her reps denied that rumour a few days ago.

Anyway, Rutty is a great actress and would make a badass (if a bit too young) Michonne. It's not her fault that True Blood's writing went to the dogs.
 
Rutina (kinda young though...), Aisha Tyler (Man I hope so!), or Naomie Harris (for the British actor thing maybe) would all be great! And just so you know, Aisha can do serious roles, Death Sentence I believe was one movie plus a recurring role on Ghost Whisperer.
 
Jada Pinkett is my favourite (since there's not time machine yet to throw Angela Bassett into), but Gina Torres is also a total badass with the right age and attitude. I don't think she's available, though :(
 
In the comics, what happens in the prison facility? Do they stay there for a while? Meet new characters? etc

Entire season if not more. Yes, there are also tons of new characters (some more meaningful than others)*

*including three of the most memorable as long as the comic goes. HUGE SPOILER:
two of them die in the most gruesome manners

No no no no no. I watched a few episodes of True Blood only and she is horribly annoying. No no no no no. Please no.

Don't waste a samurai sword wielding female character on her.

I will never admit to this in public, and I will never admit this again so savor this moment....
But I will agree that she would have probably been good in this.
Tara in True Blood was only irritating when she was blubbery and scared.
She was tolerable and not bad at other times.

Yeah, cockdiesel Angela Bassett would be a great "fit" but possibly showing her age a bit too much? Jada is a tad too short I believe, but definitely has the 'tude.
 
You know what's going to happen with the S3: Gang goes to the prison facility. Meet new people. Everything is peachy at first, then there's mutiny, shit hits the fan, prison facility gets overcomed by walkers.

In the comics, she was the one who freed the serial killer and then sided with Andrew and Dexter when they tried to throw the group out of the prison. Assuming season 3 follows that general plotline (and who knows if it will), she could definitely still serve a purpose.
But then, why she didn't speak up or side with Dale this season would be a question, I suppose.

Also, I'm not reading those spoilers up above. So if she bites it, then I guess I'm wrong in advance. lol.

Nothing is 100%, but based on the synopsis and leaked pictures it has to be close to 99% he will. He is shown riding with a relieved looking Carol to the same scene described in the synopsis (survivors regroup on the highway).

Signs point to yes.

Jimmy was the kid that got Rick's group in shit with Hershel when they taught him how to shoot better. (Jimmy lied about having Hershel's OK.) Essentially a family friend who may have once had a romantic interest in Beth before she went all suicidal. For the most part he's been on Carl babysitting duty this season and doing a terrible job at it.

Incidentally, I wonder if we took bets after Episode 2 this season how many people would have picked T-Dog (I sliced my own arm open with a car door), Carol (where's Sophia) and Beth (mute Greene daughter) as all surviving until the end of the season. Because they all did.

Season 2's corpses = Shane, Dale, Sophia, Otis, Patricia, Jimmy, Randall and Randall's Friends

And then from 49 to 94, it feels like nothing has happened at all.

So they're combining Tyrese and Michonne's character it seems like. That's my hunch going off the interview answer a couple posts up.

The window to meet Tyrese is almost gone so unless they decide to introduce him as a prisoner or they find him on the way to the prison next season I don't see him making it.

They may make T-Dawg play Tryesse's roll, they've made odd changes before.

Probably. Only purpose that Tyrese would serve at this point is to have his kids commit suicide. Daryl is on his way to filling Tyrese's role, and if they end up taking Daryl down a different route T-Dog is underdeveloped enough to be able to fill Tyrese's shoes.
 
I'd imagine Daryl will be Tyreese now. Carol already has the attachment to him and if he
hooks up with Michonne it will a) develop his character a bit given his racist background especially if Merle comes back and b) serve to drive Carol over the edge.

Hell, Daryl could end up having Tyreese's death and it could be awesome.
