Got back from work and heard the sweet, sweet news about CJ. Hell yeah.

Save a ton of money for the cap. What a great move. Made my off season.

Sorry alliance members, apparently the Lions are after Eric Winston to replace Cherilus.

Mlive said:
According to Ravens Insider Aaron Wilson, Winston will visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, followed by the St. Louis Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions. Considering Wilson is reportedly last on Winston's list, it might be tough for Detroit to land him.

Most NFL teams pressure visiting free agents to sign contracts before leaving the facility. The odds of Winston making it out of three other cities without a contract are slim, but definitely not impossible.

Winston, 28, was a third-round selection out of the University of Miami in 2006. He has started in 87 of 92 games in his six-year career.

In addition to his durability, Winston's blocking ability has enabled Texans running back Arian Foster to arguably become the NFL's top rusher. He has also blocked successfully enough for Texans quarterback Matt Schaub to connect with Adrian Johnson on a consistent basis.

That's nothing. The biggest news in Steelers' land is that Mike Tomlin had dinner with Kirk Cousins. A portend of the sixth round in the draft! *swoon*

I don't know why, if we draft a qb before i dunno the 5th, i will be annoyed. And like Bluemax said that's what it'd take to get him.

Actually, thinking on it a bit, I wouldn't be shocked if the Steelers take a flyer on a qb in the 3rd/4th range. They'll probably get an extra pick in that area after someone signs one of the tendered FA's and I believe the only qb's currently on the roster are Ben and Troy Smith.

EDIT: NEW AVY FOR TOURNEY TIME!

Was a decent nickelback for us, fit into Horton's system quite well. Would've been nice to have him back for his experience at least.

Great, Phins really needed a good nickel back. Ours lost some games for us this year, now we don't need to use a high pick to draft one now.

FFS! DeCastro is the solution at RG you morons! Save that money for Tackles! Hopefully since it's a 5 yr deal they made it really light the first few years and then we can just dump him before it gets heavy on the back end. If he costs peanuts these first two years it might be alright, at least he can provide backup depth.

Sigh, I knew we had no shot at Gaither or Laurent Robinson. Robinson seemed like the kind of guy that would just leap at whoever throws the most money no matter how bad they suck and in fact, he proved me right. I don't think there's a single WR I want opposite of Fitz left in FA anymore...really thought we'd get someone here.

Sucks to lose Marshall but I figured he'd want too much money. Worked well in Horton's scheme but the main reason I'd like to keep him is that he did a solid job filling in for Rhodes while he was out. A versatile player.

For the love of god, take a chance on Bell before you resign Brown! (We won't :( At least we brought him in so there's a slight chance in hell)

@JasonLaCanfora

Randy Moss deal - 1yr, $1.75M in salary, $46,875 per game roster bonuses (max $750K), $1.5M in PT/rec/pro bowl incentives. No guar $

Looks like an easy contract to dump if things don't go well.

As a Tennessee Volunteer fan, Manning going to the Titans makes so much sense. The guy is a fricken legend here, he can do no wrong.

guess we'll find out tomorrow if the cards are still in the manning race or not. if they cut kolb i'd say they feel like they are going to get him. if they don't.... then they don't feel they can get him

I thought so too but according to our beat writer, we don't have to cut him until 1pm AZ time on Friday. He doesn't have to be cut until Saturday but it has to be done by Friday in order for it to go through in time.

Also, looks like Snyder deal has to be real cheap at least the first year or so as we didn't have to make any adjustments at all to sign him.

Not surprising since we have done jack and shit so far. Oh wait we have not signed 2/5's of the best o line in the game, cut out RT, lost our former #1 overall pick, we have 600K to spend in free agency, lost our FB to the freaking cowboys and Jacoby Jones is STILL on the damn roster making 2.5 MILLION dollars.......

If and when Williams signs with the Bills, the Texans may become more active. They've set aside the money they offered the outside linebacker/defensive end in case he changes course and decides to accept.

If he doesn't, those dollars will come free and we can expect them to try to retain their free-agent center, Chris Myers

WAIT! So we are holding back on signing anyone for freakiing Mario??WTF!

Not to add to your bad day, but it sounds like Adams is going all in for Manning and Williams. Pretty amazing if he lands both. Although huge potential to back fire.

Veteran guard Leonard Davis, an 11-year veteran, who did not play any games last season after signing with the Detroit Lions midway through the season, is scheduled to visit the 49ers Wednesday, a league source told CSNBayArea.com

Davis (6-6, 355) was the No. 2 overall pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2001. He played his first six seasons with the Cardinals before moving to the Dallas Cowboys for four years. The Cowboys parted ways with him after the lockout.

Davis is a three-time Pro Bowl selection. He has no other visits scheduled, so indications are that there's a good chance he could end up with the 49ers by the end of the day.

I was just informed by the Seahawks that Robert Gallery will be released.

An offseason QB battle between Colt McCoy and Seneca Wallace in Cleveland.

I wouldn't even wish that on my worst enemy.

Yeah pork chop adams sacrificing the financial stability of his franchise to "stick it" to Houston.jnc

We will STILL beat their ass.

Well it seems like Adams is willing to let Peyton become Elway after he retires and run the team. May even be a path to ownership since Bud's kids don't seem too involved

edit: Barkley is Sanchez v2. Watch his youtube highlights and how he has to jump as he strides during his drops. Too short. Has to work too hard to look good, as they say

That's the spirit.

I have read the Texans have an offer of 44 million guaranteed over 3 years on the table to Mario. That money could be spent in so many better places.

Resign Myers and Briesel to keep our o-line intact then get a legit #2 receiver like Manningham.
