Reapers reap what they sow.... Someone suggest that BioWare should call Jeff Goldblum!
Sowing. People sow clothes.
The clothing on the child are white.
The only end would be to send the Reapers into a white giant.

I think the worst thing about this pic is how the player is using Vega as one of the squadmates.
I don't think you have to state it. It goes without saying that she's just trying to do her job, and it's hard to talk to people whom she doesn't even know about reasons she's not fully aware of -- besides the fact that people keep mentioning that the ending was disappointing. Keeping the conversations civil is her main priority, and being vague helps.
Some of you guys's anger stages are frightening. :|They like the ending and that's fine. But many people do not and telling them "well, you're not the authors" is stupid as well. Sure, we aren't the authors, but that doesn't mean we can't hang the authors by their toes and flay them alive for a crap ending.
lololol
Driven by Shepard and Garrus of course.
Someone needs to photoshop Vega getting sucked in and a more respectable squadmate coming out, ie Garrus or Liara.
Indoctrination detected.
I take it you aren't going to watch the Mass Effect anime starring Vega?

Going to bed. haha

James is super fucking good. A 20% bonus to squad shields and HP is huge. He also does a ton of damage with Carnage and can tank like a pro. And he can share incendiary rounds so I can stick with Disruptor and switch when I need the extra armor dmg.

I don't know anything about PR except that it tries to downplay the negative and to keep people interested. It seems that's what she's doing.Nah its completely unacceptable. These people are trained, lets not keep pretending they are clueless and without any idea of whats going on. They are also VERY trained in how to lead a discussion both closed and open and which can include, "What do you like besides the ending?" Which a couple have and not answering unless they can. They are NOT doing that and going out of their way to NOT do that.
Anyway. Thats how I feel I train people who do this and this kind of vague doublespeak would get them pinched instantly. But hey whatever. Just seems completely fucked to me. Seems like no one else agrees so I will take that complaint elsewhere or something.

James and Ashley are essentially the same thing, but James is quite a bit better. And I don't mind him as a character either. His VA is good.

1. No closure
2. Synthetics vs. organics theme out of nowhere (and proven wrong by EDI and the geth)
3. Stupid Kid
4. Identical endings save for a different flavor.

The only downside is you have to listen to him talk during missions instead of someone better like....anyone else in your squad.
On a scale of 1-10 how embarrassing is the PAX East panel going to be? I hope for there sake they don't take questions.
Have we been playing the same franchise?

Hah fair enough. I didn't mind James' character at all to be honest. He just seemed like a typical "fuck yeah bro" soldier and it seems crazy for there not to be one of those in my squad.
Infiltrator Shep (with Disruptor ammo and slam as a special ability), James and Javik is a damn fine insanity mode squad. It needs an overloader, but Disruptor ammo does the job.
I was fooled once... I won't be fooled again.

what time span does the game take place in? Nobody ever mentions the passage of tiem that I can recall. Nobody really seems to be in a real hurry to get shit done. And theres no way they can Lego the Crucible together in a couple weeks.
Imagine how good your squad would be with Garrus instead of James! Better powers (Overload, and ArpAmmo > Inferno imo), better character, and if you have the particle beam, better damage.
Again, it's proven wrong by the geth and EDI. The whole thing is a subplot up until the ending and then it's just thrust into the spotlight for no damn good reason.
This is not what you mean, but I did like how the game sends another wave of Cerberus troops at you for Eve's last checkpoint in the Salarian lab if you delay sending her up because you're roaming around looking for weapon/fund pickups. Mordin scolded me for taking too long.
Even if you broker peace between the Geth and the Quarians, how long do you think that will last? They live on the same planet and even Tali is still holding grudges against the Geth afterwards. Not to mention that another race could just as easily create a new race of synthetics and peace might not be an option if they revolt.

Anyone notice the first shot with the kid is of him trying to deceive you with a toy ship?

the Geth are carrying out a vaccination program on Quarian suits--Tali mentions that in a few years, Quarians are going to be able to walk free on the planet. How do you know they all won't be wiped out by bacteria?

Speaking of Garrus, did anyone else intrude on Garrus and Tali making out? awkward....
That was awesome. Loved the little moments like that. I also found Garrus arguing with Vega about who's the biggest hotshot.
That may be true, but the fact that the Reapers, machines, themselves are killing organics pretty much creates a paradox in their logic to "Reap."It's a little dismissive to call the relationship between organic and synthetic life a subplot. Yes, EDI and the Geth illustrate that representatives of both types of existence can cooperate, but that collaboration doesn't somehow close the book on the overall theme the series has been exploring.
I just think it's a stretch to call the synthetic life theme a subplot in a story that began with the premise that "ancient machines harvest organic life every 50,000 years, stop them."

I used Garrus a lot on my first playthrough (normal) but I find he tends to not add much when I'm an Infiltrator.
And Arp ammo isn't better than Incindiary – not in my experience anyway. Warp ammo is just like Arp but quite a bit stronger and does more dmg to banshees when they have their barriers up. Incindiary has the stun factor for Cerberus troops and the mini explosions at max level. Also I think Carnage is better than the high impact shot. Rips up brutes, harvesters, etc.
You don't need overload when you have sabotage anyway. Atlas and turrets are a non-issue. I can just snipe the atlas driver and steal the mech anyway. And Geth are cake with sabotage too
Love Garrus, but for Insanity mode it's James +1 (Liara, Kaidan or Javik)
sleeprockss said:I romanced Tali and even then they were flirting a little bit with each other but it's okay, if anyone was to bang Tali after my Shepard died I'm glad it was Garrus.
