I don't wish any organization to go through what the Blazers have gone through the past 3 years. This is a signal the organization knows it's time for a new start.

Feels bad man. But it feels right.

It's not really a new start though. You still got Batum, L.M.A and Mathews still there. They're just getting some more support. If we hit home runs in this draft were going deep in the playoffs in the future.

And we needed a new voice. Nate deserved to leave. He was going to leave for the supersonics when they come back anyway, so he'll take a bit of a sabbatical. He's been through a lot with all the injuries and crap. While he was fired I'm sure he's happy to be in a new situation.

Fisher: 1

Timmy is too good for the Spurs fan base. You are a zero.

Fuck the Bulls' FO and the fanbase for once again overrating their own damn players. This stupid city loves "hustle and intensity".

So was that it then, no more pending deals?

Pretty good. I think the Clippers probably come off the best, but its not bad for LA.

I dont mind that Minny didnt make a move, if Adelman is happy with his current team, then let them play the season out, see what they can do.

So, no one could pry Allen (or Pierce) away from the Celtics? It seems like everyone of the contending teams in the league needs some SG help.

Going on record that I didn't want Fisher traded. Didn't want him starting but not traded.

Also LMAO @ the Nuggets even thinking the Maloofs would answer the phone for a Nene/DMC swap.

Ray is going to have his choice of contenders this off season.

He would be a great vet min pick for LAL OKC LAC SAS MIA CHI ORL MEM or even NYK.

Ray sweepstakes is acomin'.

And that's the thing. If he was there, he was starting. It's like the Bulls with Bogans in the offseason. They had to have him off the team to protect the coach from himself, so better players could be in for those 25 minutes per game. Replacing a horrible player with an average rotation player is an upgrade.

There's a blue collar attitude which is annoying. Quite a few posts all over FB trash talking Miami with "TEAMS win championships, not individuals!". It's like they forget all the kids Michael sent home every May/June.

Scott Howard-Cooper ‏ @SHowardCooper
Lakers-Rockets deal only after trade fell apart late that would have sent Fisher,Jamaal Crawford to Minn, Beasley to L.A., Dallas 1 to Port.

wellp... can't win them all

but on the plus side

+ our point guard position have a upgrade in sessions
+ cleared cap space
+ have a backup center with a lot of potential in Jordan Hill
+ Troy Murphy is better at Power Forward than center
+ Luke Walton & Jason Kapono are gone

Fish leaving LA like this is the only downside to it all... he should retire after this season.

Idiots are happy just to have the best record. Miami will sweep them this year.

Nick Young's swag will lead us to the promised land. He may be a chucker, but anything is better than Randy Foye starting.

He really could not be in a better situation. He's not as big of an asshole as Chauncey, but they'll still expect him to turn it on from time to time. I expect his shooting percentage to go back to around 45%.

Was holding out for a Dwight miracle, but whatever... ride or die with this squad.

Young is a really good pure shooter. He's not going to need to ISO with CP3 and Blake there. Good pickup.

Good move for the Wiz. A little annoyed that we picked up Nenes contract...but it was essentially Javale for Nene straight up...and there literally isn't a good C available in this draft or next years (Drummond bust, Davis = PF).

Overall I'm a little uncomfortable with the amount of talent in this league period...we desperately need some potential scoring leaders to enter the draft. Hopefully the point guard era is over.

Imagine how good that team would be with healthy Roy and Oden!

I probably would have taken Fish to get Craw.
