LJ, what's your take on the Williams signing? You must be excited.

Nice to fill a hole without having to spend a pick. Hopefully we can sign our '13 FAs, I'll be excited then, or if we have a good draft.

Williams signed primarily because of money, but when you listen to him and the FO, there's a smaller issue at hand. He and others in the FO pointed that Mario doesn't want to be a leader, doesn't want any of that, and the FO is fine with it. Seems like he wanted money while just being one of the guys. Mario's a bit deluded I think. Whatever, stay healthy and play well.

Team may be turning the corner, they can actually take the BPA at 10, though it'll probably a LT.

He probably would've had a big year in '11, multiple pass rush options, really had a lot of good players around him. Still earned bank, so I guess it didn't matter for him personally, but the team would've benefited greatly.

Manning is signing with Miami, has been all along. We're just making sure the other AFC wildcard candidates waste as much time as possible. We did the same thing with LeBron and the Bulls.

While the Arizona media was telling anybody who would listen that Manning loved the place, that couldn’t have been further from the truth. The meeting was a dud. Owner Bill Bidwill showing up to the meeting a few hours late isn’t exactly a sure fire way to get Manning signed. A source very close to the situation explained how Larry Fitzgerald was uninspiring and it almost seemed as if he didn’t really care if Manning came or not. He said, “They rolled out the red carpet and created a dog and pony show that Peyton definitely was not looking for.”

Meh, this is a QB driven league. Teams will take any chance they can to get someone who might be able to fill the franchise qb role. I don't think Flynn will be successful either, but sometimes you have to take that chance. Especially if your current qb is Tavaris Jackson
