Now you're really sounding like the Illusive Man. WHO WAS INDOCTRINATED.
lol. I was all for a "destroy the Reapers!!11!" ending, till the Catalyst showed what everything was about.

shoutouts to Samara. And NeoGaf.
...a bunch of bullshit that you couldn't call it out on?
Kill the reapers, send everyone back to the dark ages, and just wait till the synthetics conquer everyone? I'd rather create a new "evolved" civilization, problem solved.

There is no problem. You proved that his cycle was bullshit throughout the series.
Red ending is a dumb soldier ending. Why would that be right?
Only because no other civilization could prove that it was bullshit. Shepard's doings that proved that the organics can fight back and change things. Maybe it was impossible before this cycle, because the Crucible was built based on cycles and cycles of studies.
This list wins everybody else can stop.

Casey Hudson has pretty much debunked that indoctrination theory my friend. The guy has said the ending is what it is, and any future dlc will not change that. Sorry to say, the indoc theory is the creation of zealous BSN and GAF ME fans. Ventkid was real, and the last 3 choices were real. It´s only the Right ending if the indoctrination Theory would be true, the only way to not get indoctrinated.

Studies where he influenced the outcome by aiding in the sending of thousands of killer machines who scourge all advanced life in the galaxy for no discernible reason, sure. They're all fucking retarded.
this cycle proves that "synthetics will always try to wipe out all organics in the galaxy" is false, because they complete the crucible. That means that organics have a shot in wiping out synthetics.I find it really hard to believe that over the hundreds of millions of years, it's only this one cycle (that coincidentally completes the Crucible) that proves "synthetics will always try to wipe out all organics in the galaxy" is false.
Especially since the Reapers themselves are synthetic yet they've kept to the whole "prune the galaxy" idea for nearly a billion years without ever falling into this doomsday scenario that is the whole point of their actions. If it's so inevitable, why haven't the ones in the best possible position to do it for countless cycles not done it yet?
Besides, Shepard can't even point out why this is stupid.

The biggest thing for me in my decision to continue on with the ME series will be how Bioware decides to handle this whole debacle. Will they swallow their pride/ego complex and treat their "devoted" fans how they should be, or will they simply PR their way along and use quotes from the Journal to somehow make me change my mind on the game I just played really is.
Funny that they call us "devoted fans" like its a bad thing, I guess the people who have spent hundreds of dollars on the games/dlc/novels/comics don't matter as much as the mighty Wall Street Journal, who in 20 years of gaming I have never looked at once for anything revolving around gaming.
I chose that option because that's what Anderson wanted (hell he gave a whole speech just a few seconds ago before succumbing to a gunshot wound that Shepard inflicted) and because it was the only option that didn't involve Shepard disintegrating (he still got blown up though, funny that the stupid kid didn't mention the fact that you'd go up in a fiery blaze if you destroyed that freaking pipe).Red ending is a dumb soldier ending. It makes sense: the only way the Catalyst thought it was possible to prevent the deaths of all organics was to wipe their civilizations, so both the synthetics they created and the knowledge of how to create this synthetics would be wiped also, giving the "lesser civilization" an opportunity to flourish.

The biggest problem with the Catalyst's silly opinion on synthetics and organics is that his existence disproves his own point. You'd think he would have considered that.![]()
Imagine if you could trip him with the power of logic and he destroys himself.

I honestly don't know. I think the ending poses more questions than answers, but Casey told IGN that any new dlc will not be connected with the end game. Maybe he changes his mind at a later date, but that is straight from his own mouth. So what is their explanation for Shep being alive in a pile of ruble in the destroy ending? The kid said that it would kill me as well if I chose it, and yet there I am taking a gasp of breath. Was he lying or was he wrong? Was Shep not made up of as many synthetic parts as everyone thought?
But why will synthetics always kill all organics?
If that's true, why hasn't the Catalyst or his own synthetics (the Reapers) done it yet?
Why can't the player poke holes in that logic like that, or use contrary examples (EDI and the geth if you made peace on Rannoch), instead of giving up and accepting it?
They do this by destroying organics though, which invalidates their claims at preserving organization. They're are there to prevent destruction., not just to destroy.
You should have been able to do that. Seriously. It wouldn't be the first time in an RPG (hehe) that you could basically show the final boss just how idiotic he is through dialogue and pretty much end the game by shaming him.
Just see the Geth <-> Quarrian fights. In some point, synthetics will develop a consciousnesses and, from that point, they won't allow themselves to be just "organic slaves", and the organics won't accept that change of behavior as well. The chances of synthetics winning will always be higher, so the Catalyst did this thinking it was the only way to prevent the end of the organics. The Reapers aren't just the Catalyst synthetics, they're rulers, god like entities. They're are there to prevent destruction., not just to destroy.
