NFL Off-Season Thread: "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?"

I would rather watch the Niners win the next 50 Superbowls and listen to your insane bragging than see Brady or Bellicheat win another one.

How is that even a question?

Good man, we must all stand against evil, even if it means occasionally cheering for the Steelers when they play the pats.

On September 7, 2010, Ireland assumed full command of operations on a day to day basis. Bill Parcells became a daily consultant for the Miami Dolphins, a position he has since left. This is officially known to Dolphins fans as "The Day the Miami Dolphins Franchise Was Prevented From Ever Being Successful Again."

:(

Brady and co. would have swag surfed all over the shitty Niners if they met in the Super Bowl.

lady brady would have shit his pants as soon as he stepped on the field and saw our D. ryan mallet might have had a few productive drives but once the coke wore off he'd come back down to earth and we would destroy him too

Missed this one hahahaha, poor Dolphins...

Although Ireland will officially have final say over player personnel in Miami, it has been speculated that Bill Parcells will make such decisions.[2] The Dolphins were able to hire Ireland away from the Cowboys because he did not have final say in Dallas. To paraphrase G.O.B. Bluth, they had made a huge mistake.

Andrew Luck

next!

RG3

who picks 3rd? cause you're up!

That's funny. You forget a couple of key pieces. You see, this was all engineered by the man with the firmest handshake in the NFL. 1st, Peyton signs with the 9ers, 2nd, moments before the draft, the 9ers trade Peyton to the Colts for the 1st round draft pick. Thus, the Niners select Andrew Luck.

At #2 the Redskins pick......

The Niners D if healthy would have been a bad matchup against the Pats.

The game would have come down to whether or not Alex could score 2+ TDs against the Pats shitstain of a defense. The Pats would have been able to stop the run but I don't know if Alex would have been up to the task of destroying their secondary.

I was afraid that the Niners were going to lose in the Superbowl but thankfully we never have to find out! Eli saved the day and is looking strong going into his 30s as a 2 time Superbowl champion and virgin (this plays well in the blue states).

UPDAAATEEEE!

Patriots reach agreement with tight end Daniel Fells

Tight end is not a position of need in New England, but when the Patriots identify a player they like, they’ll go get him. And that’s what they’ve just done with tight end Daniel Fells.

Fells has reached an agreement on a three-year deal with the Patriots, the Boston Herald reports. He’ll join Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez on a very deep depth chart at tight end.

With Fells in the fold as the primary blocking tight end, it makes it even more clear that while Gronkowski and Hernandez are listed at tight end, they’re receivers first and foremost in the Patriots’ offense.

The 28-year-old Fells started 15 games for the Broncos last year and was mostly a blocker, catching 19 passes for 256 yards. His most productive receiving season came in 2010 with the Rams, when he caught 41 passes for 391 yards.

So they sign a TE to block, but the TE they signed sucks at blocking from what I'm reading? Is he injury prone too ?

Now that everyone figured out that Lord Brady's greatest weakness is anything further than 10 yards, even the Packers D of last year could defeat him.
The Pats won't beat you deep. Tammy just doesn't have the arm strength to get it down the field.

You have to be able to defend the dinks and dunks and take away the middle of the field to stop Tammy.

Do the Pats want to put 10 tight ends and Tebow on the field at the same time?

In all fairness, Hernandez is more a WR than a TE. With Fells they only have 3 on the roster.

ANOTHER UPDATE!

Bruce Irvin arrested for destruction of property

Last month, former West Virginia defensive end Bruce Irvin ran very fast at the Scouting Combine, with a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash. Over the weekend, he apparently didn’t run fast enough.

Irvin was arrested late Saturday night for destruction of property, according to WVMetroNews.com. He allegedly broke a sign at a sandwich shop.

A pass-rush specialist whose final season fell short of expectations with only 8.5 sacks, Irvin’s performance in Indianapolis resulted in a surge in phone calls expressing interest in him.

More phone calls than, say, the two he was allowed to make late Saturday night.

Sucks to be stupid.

Case, since you made the Pats picks last year, do you have anything you wanna tell us draft noobs how you did it last year and if you have any preferences and such.

It would be amusing in a horrifying sort of way if the time TT decides to jump into free agency he does so by massively overpaying for a restricted tag guy.

Do you want to draft the way the Pats should or the way they will?

The Pats SHOULD spend all of their high draft picks on defense and try to get a pass rusher and the best player in the secondary available (corner or safety, doesn't matter).

The Pats WILL trade down and use a lot of 2nd and 3rd round picks on white tight ends, an offensive lineman, some total trash on defense, and players with really hot moms. That is the Bellicheat philosophy.

but he isnt a Packer
Do the Packers only buy their roids from current Packers or in Wisconsin?

No wonder your defense sucked dick last year. If the Packers want to win another championship they better get their shit together and start buying only the best of the best of the roids. As you can see from Laron's promotional material he has that stuff!
