The Ghibli movies are actually pretty awesome and great for kids. Some of the monsters are weird looking but no tentacle rape that I have ever seen.
I try to watch any foreign movie in its native language.

- Ponyo is a kids movie.
- My Neighbor Totoro is fine for kids.
- Spirited Away is more mature/scary for kids. I wouldn't drop it on them until older.
- Mononoke is pretty violent/adult and rated PG13 so yeah.
It's kind of like Pixar. There's a sliding scale between "totally ok for all" and "for teens"
The movies I have seen are a lot better than Disney movies.
Never saw a Disney movie as good as Spirited Away. Though I did like some of their stuff from the 90s (i.e. Aladdin and Ducktales).

Outside of Kurosawa I've watched maybe 2 Japanese movies. And no magna or whatever all that shit is called.
But when it comes to a foreign film I would always want to watch it with the original voice actors. Even in a language I cant understand they are going to sound better than some cheap ass voice actor.
Edit: If the Panthers release Williams I expect him to go straight to Denver.
