In all honesty, I think Tebow'd do pretty well in the Jags run-first offense. Would be almost like a Navy/Georgia Tech offense with him and Mojo.

Then the offense falls apart when he goes down. I pass on an offense that is designed to be run by a single QB even if he has mystical powers.

Please tell me Alex Smith got signed back by the niners, Dolphins would overpay him just to sign a name

At this point Jeff Ireland has to go, he has made Dolphins a team no one wants to play for.

young cuevas where do you think the Bears are going to look for in the first round? i am of the opinion that they should take the best available talent on their board regardless of the position. i don't want to take a 2nd or 3rd rate offensive tackle just because of need. the bears have plenty of holes on the roster to fill, so i don't think we can go wrong with anything to be honest.

DE, DT, WR, CB, OT, OG, LB, as long as they get someone who can contribute day 1 I think it will be good. Anyone other than the bum Mike Adams from Ohio State.

Well of course. He wouldn't be able to walk all over harbs like he has done to every other coach in his career

Hopefully Alex gets over his butt-hurtedness and realizes that the team wasn't going after Peyton because they simply didn't like him, but because Peyton is a better QB. He has to take his pride out of it and just accept that it was an option the 49ers had to explore since they had the chance.

No matter what happens, Alex is probably shook up and will go out trying to prove himself and turn his minimal turn overs into 15+ this year.

Just landed and found out over a pint that Manning is gonna sign with the Broncos. Way to go.

Rumours have it, Tebow goes to the Pats as H-back. Please don't go to Miami, Timmy. If you must, make Henne's life in Jaxville miserable...

Every bar shows my fav sports here. I wish I could stay here...

also lol just because we signed Mike Tolbert doesn't mean we're going to trade DeAngelo or J-Stew. We signed him to play FB/H-back and as an insurance policy if we can't get a deal done with J-Stew after the season (latter is my opinion). We signed him to a 4-year, $10m deal - that's FB money, not RB money. Tolbert is basically replacing Shockey, but as a younger and more versatile option.

You're in Boston? Do you have plans/time for some touristy stuff?

Also, bring me back a white Brady jersey!

Those are probably really cheap now. I got a Reebok DeSean Jackson Jersey for $11.20 at Dick's Sporting Goods. They are getting rid of all of their jerseys to make room for the Nike branded gear.

Man I miss football. Being able to watch Peyton work again is going to make this season even better too.

New eye candy on NFLN. Rebecca is A-OK in my books.

Woah, the mock draft started already? Good thing the Lions pick so late this year so I haven't missed it. :P

Anyway, 'grats to the Broncos on the Manning sweepstakes. It's going to be so odd seeing him in that dark blue. And thanks to Pey Pey for not going to the 49ers, the rest of the NFC appreciates your decision!

I do not follow college football enough to do that, but thanks. Mostly following the Avalanche right now.

To be honest with you I only watched a few college games this year. I will try to do us proud.

IRC, I think we are going to orange jerseys this year.

Bears biggest need is O-Line as of now. Then DE, then another WR. If Martin, Decastro, or Glenn is there you better take him, same with Floyd. If not I think DE or BPA of someone who fell hard to us. Do well boys.

ATTENTION LAZY ASSES - TELL US WHY YOU DRAFTED WHO YOU DRAFTED SO I CAN POST THE WRITE UP.

GAF Mock Draft :

Washington (5-11) - mr2xxx, LiveWire - QB - Robert Griffin III

After trading a king's ransom to the St. Louis Rams, the Washington Redskins clearly believe that Baylor prospect Robert Griffin III, aka "RG3," is the man that can finally give the Skins stability at the quarterback position. Griffin's combination of raw athletic talent, speed, throwing strength and accuracy, field vision (as a passer and a runner), not to mention his visible leadership, charisma and work ethic clearly establish him as a can't-miss prospect and a football player that any NFL fan would love to have as their QB.

However, there remain some questions about his ability to succeed in his transition from NCAA to NFL. An ACL injury in college lurks as a potential for lingering performance issues, given the assumed punishment a players' body will take at the professional level. Having spent the majority of his college career quarterbacking from shotgun/spread formations has some scouts worried whether he can fit into professional offensive schemes requiring snaps from under center with 3-step drops and quick reads.

Despite this, if ever there was a brighter future for a QB, it may only be for the man likely to be selected right before him--Stanford prospect Andrew Luck. Some even believe RG3's potential ceiling is higher than Luck's. But let's not forget the NFL Draft history is littered with top-ranked busts, including Washington's own 1994 #3 overall draft pick Heath Shuler--a pick which the Redskins didn't have to trade two more year's worth of 1st round draft picks to acquire.

If Riley Reiff dropped to us I'd be down with that, or DeCastro. I don't know about reaching for Glenn tho, i haven't seen him higher than like 27 or so on most boards.

Riley Reiff

I mean there's not much to say, they don't have a LT, so they don't have a choice. Can gamble with Massey or Adams being there in the 2nd but there's a dearth of tackles in this league. Got to take one early.

Kirpatrick, Wright, Perry, Coples are all candidates but you can't stretch the field if you don't have a LT.

Garrard isn't a bad pick up if the rumor are right he'd play for the min. I'm guessing this pretty much means it's over with Smith and Tebow and we draft a QB. or so I hope.

It would have been amusing to see them sign Smith for substantial money went you could argue he isn't even better than Matt Moore.

Seattle Seahawks - Melvin Ingram DE

Over the course of the few drafts Seattle has built up their defense, specifically the secondary with good success. While we've been taking on a hard nosed defensive identity, we've established ourselves at covering in the secondary and stopping the run. However our defense hasn't put great pressure on the quarter back.

Ingram will change this. An explosive DE who never gives up on a play Ingram is a force to be reckoned with. Pairing him up with our already stout interior run stopping, Ingram is a quarter back hunter, using his quickness and bull rushing to reach the quarter back. One weakness he does have is his reaction time, he's usually the last one off the block. However once he gets going he's a train headed straight for the QB, showing not a lack of speed but simply bad reaction time. Some would argue for Quinton Coples at this spot but i don't think he has the maturity that a rebuilding franchise needs

Sweet Seattles on the clock. Im not on the draft list but if for some reason the other guys dont show up I might make the pick if that's ok with you guys.

edit: nm lol....nice pick Canuck ;P
