That being said, I'm trying to think of how I could've itemised better, if I bought an MKB I'd have to give up the BKB or Heart, if I didn't have BKB I would've died to chain sheeps, and if I didn't have heart I wouldn't live through the Cloud -> Doom -> Sheep -> Frostbite combo. Get rid of BF and I couldn't satellite push.
I think by that time you could afford giving up BF and just letting illusions push for you.

Hobart and Final need to learn to take criticism better, Final got touchy after being told to Midas and Hobart got upset I told him to watch his positioning, makes no sense to me.
nah, I forgot but like after 70 mins it doesn't really matter if I midas or not.
I'm the first one to say that I'm not pretty good with furion (ok, maybe I just suck).

Veil of Discord does more damage with SK ulti than Aghanim's Scepter I believe. It's a lot cheaper too, but doesn't give you any HP or mana.

It does give mana, and armor (which sk lacks) and hp regen. I wouldn't get either on him though, shiva's is where its at after the blink dagger, and then BoTs, because he is a ridiculously strong solo pusher.

Alright, so I crunched the numbers on that bad redditor graph, and the attack speed listed is actually (IAS/100), or the percentage-based IAS. So on that graph, 5 = 500 IAS. Even remembering that each point of AGI is one IAS, that's fucking ridiculous. His graph has values that are so far outside of what you would realistically expect to see it's stupid.

In talking with the late puber, it's more complicated than this. The +100 damage from MKB is pure, so it's not negated by armour. If you were just going the non-negated numbers, daedalus wins every time. But later in the game, true damage means a lot more.

He fixed that x100 thing in the top rated comment.

Btw Sanjay, you need to make a video of this: Match 8008748, ~31:00, follow Swift.

Beautiful, the hook montage made me laugh :D

I'm slightly dissapointed that my illus didn't slow though, cause that was what I thought was happening :(
at least they got the kill

Started playing with the Reddit Dota 2 noobs community over mumble. They seem like pretty cool people.

Yeah, I definitely recommend this to beginners. I spend a lot of time now doing in houses with the redditnoobs when I'm not playing bots with my friends.

I didn't know they had a mumble channel. I should look into getting that program.

Do you meet in a special dota 2 chat channel or room for those inhouses and are most of the people there from US?

They're arranged in the redditnoobs channel. Quite a spread of people, I know I played with a couple from Europe. I think the server location is just determined by whoever makes the lobby more than anything else.

It's called the HEROES OF NEWERTH channel because it's the better game and NO, everyone in the channel is either Russian, Chinese, or at least a racist. Learning to read cyrillic is a must and you're not allowed to have fun because you have to play at least 500 games before your next post in this thread. Enjoy getting shafted by the milkman every game. That's not lube son, that's milk so learn to enjoy it.

Get crunched.

Sorry but I wasn't talking about the gaf inhouses.

Thanks, I might take a look at it.

I'm sorry but we prefer the term Scottish. That's just offensive and ignorant.

Thought exactly the same thing. But guide's rating is too high, so I began to doubt my own understanding of the game.

I read an article by a Dignitas member (affiliate?) that talked about guides. The take home message, as I recall, was that understanding items is more important than just grabbing some skill/item builds off the Internet and applying them. Especially given how reactionary the game is designed with items that can really help stop so many team strategies.

And that's the reason why I asked your opinion on the case. Thought I missing smth. Thanks for clearing this out to me.

Yeah this. I find that reading the guides helps me key in on items that can buy and not a strict build. And most of the time these guides fall apart if you're losing the early game (since most of these are writing from the perspective that you're winning every step of the way).

fixed it? That doesn't make sense. It would change the effectiveness of dae v mkb based on what you're hitting.

All I know is he said he did lol. I haven't put any effort into understanding how the dota maths work yet. I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy the game more once I do.

just won a game with Enchantress doing 11 / 1. <3
only problem with her was the auto-cast of ulti that burns a lot of mana. and I don't play her in jungle.
