Honestly, she's fucking crazy. So was that Korean chick making racist tweets. I'll reserve judgement until she sees a goddamn pyschiatrist.
 
I don't understand half of the things she says because of the audio but damn, I'd be pretty scared if someone reacted like that when I went to university (at a professor, even!)

Nah man I think they're both responsible for their own actions. Insanity is only relevant if they had no idea they were doing something unacceptable. The Korean posted "I regret nothing" afterwards so she clearly knew what was up and didn't care to check herself. This girl dared people to post her rant on YouTube, she understood the consequences.

Reding those youtube comments just disgusts me. It's obviously some type of mental episode. I can't really find any of it funny. Considering I have a family member with bi-polar that has an occasional episode of psychosis it just makes me sad. And they did some REALLY embarrassing shit when they were going through that and it was COMPLETELY out of character. That girl will probably feel extremely embarrassed once she comes to.

We don't make fun of people with heart conditions because they can't play sports or people with liver/kidney problems but when someone has a serious issue with their physical brains we tend to point and laugh.

Don't you have to prove vaccinations for college or employment in most places? I think they should treat mental health the same way. People should get tested.

That's completely pointless. A person can be perfectly fine for the tests, get admitted and have their mental condition manifest during their schooling.

And what of people that *DO* have mental disorders but are being treated? Best to just get her the treatment now and when/if she's better she can get back to her schooling.

In part it's an issue of funding, and in part it's because shit like this isn't an issue until it is. You might have a variety of risk factors for forming a mental health issue but not actually have it develop until your third year or something.

Then have mandatory testing every two years. May seem silly, but this is an issue of lives. With how easily weapons can be obtained in our society, this issue should get more attention. In the end, it's for the benefit of those suffering from these diseases, which is what these conditions are. By doing so, I also think society will be more accepting of people suffering from these disorders, and treat them like other diseases that people suffer from.
