Why doesn't anyone have the balls to ask Goodell why he burnt the spyware videos and ask him to suspend himself? I really don't like him.

Hey that guy was me dude. And he is decent. He's not complete shit and everybody knows that Tebow is a horrible practice QB, so Mark can't get outplayed on that field.
 
I can't believe GAF was down during one of the craziest afternoons in recent NFL history. NBA-GAF really picked a poor time to enact their retaliation.


Only the Jets could make a trade that screws up their franchise, then somehow screw up the actual trade. They didn't even read his contract before agreeing to the trade? What an embarrassment of a franchise.

b/c Kraft, Rooneys, Maras and a couple of other owners run the league office. There is a grown ups table at the league meetings, and a little kids table. Benson doesn't sit next to Bob Kraft . . .

The Rams owner doesn't actually go to the meetings anymore b/c he was insulted by the whole thing. It's why I'm certain he's trying to move them to LA. All about ego. LA market forces the league to give him the juice he wants

Rams are backpedaling on Tebow and saying media is overstating their interest. They say they are just looking for a backup QB. Obviously doesn't pass the smell test

Although, on NFL Live today Schefter just said that if the trade with the Jets falls through JAX are going to jump back into it.

Remember when Derek Sherrod was a firm, totally reliable replacement to Chad Clifton?

Mercilus had 1 good year and has bust potential I'll give you that but 1. nothing's ever certain as evidenced by Sherrod and Carimi on the Bears, 2. Packers probably won't pick Konz, 3. This is a fake draft it's not that big of a deal.

If I'm wrong feel free to call me an a-hole or rub my face in it.

The NFL is using our draft in April. It saves time so they can show even more commercials during the draft broadcast.

I kind of embrace this in a way though because at least our team gets talked about a lot. I used to have to search for hours just to find a mention of my Saints anywhere.
 
Putting an asterisk on the Saints' ring is pretty dumb. Bounties are fucked up but its not like it gives you a competitive advantage like spytapes. Did they keep any players due to the bounties that they otherwise would have lost for salary cap reasons? C'mon son.

The chip is legit and I say that as a damn Colts fan.
 
I was blown away when I heard about the bullets that Goodell doled out today. I kind of figured the story would get swept under the rug and dealt with in some sort of relatively low-key fashion, at some point I think I started laughing at the sheer breadth of this. The eject button has basically been pushed on the Saints' 2012 season already, I'm curious to see how this shakes out for the rest of the league too, as I'm sure some more finger-pointing will go on at some point.

Also, Tebow to the Jets would be the most hilarious story of the offseason. Tossing a cup of holy water into an oil drum fire, that is.
