Pretty sure you're right, I've been waiting for it to show up on Amazon but I've never been able to order it. Will be on the lookout at other places, though I might just grab the regular edition. Even the $60 box comes with the soundtrack which is pretty cool.Man, I'm really going to need to hurry up and get the Dark Edition from somewhere other than Amazon aren't I? Other places are supposedly selling out, and I swear it never actually went up there.

Do they sell any art books or anything along those lines separately?
i really want to see some direct feed gameplay trailer to judge the framerate. the 360 version looks fantastic, but does it runs smooth? some guys that played it at an event said it runs super smooth, his colleague thought it ran like shit (both only played the 360 version at the same event).
Dunno about separate, but gog.com included a high quality artbook for their version. (pc)
I'm so glad they're nerfing Quen. My only hope is that the difficulty of the combat will not be reduced to go along with it, because Quen abuse was a lot of people's way to stop trying in combat.
Even when you reach the end part of a skill tree and you're near god mode, you still have to at least try in combat now. This is good news.
Has a demo been confirmed for the 360 version ?
I wonder how many people will stop playing at the first serious boss fight in Chapter 1. Or did they nerf him?
please don't name the boss, these patch notes had enough spoilers.
nope
Yeah, there's a LOAD of issues with that boss.
Oh, and it thankfully doesn't say that part 2 is the only limit on patch changes. They seem relatively disorganized. There's a chance there's some fixes for that one, otherwise uh... well. People gonna quit on that one.
It doesn't need nerfs so much as it needs a lot of design oriented changes. The power is fine but they way the fight is handled feels poor from an implementation standpoint. Overall it's probably the lowest point of the game.
Sorry if this has been answered before, but how will this work for those people who have never played the first part?
Can someone just jump right in? Why start with 2 anyways?
As for that fight...If your talking about Letho, I played that fight after the big patch so I'm not sure how it was at launch but it was relatively simple, especially since you only take him to 50% health. Just keep your distance while he was using Quen, stay behind him when you strike with melee or use bombs.
Do I need to play the first before i dive into this? What will I be missing if I don't?
I have the first one PC but never got around to it.
Will buy the shit out of this provided I'll have enough time to play it in April. I really hope it runs okay seeing how pretty the visuals are.

I started working on OT for 360/enhanced version.
lol?
at 1:00
You can jump right into the second without much issue, there's some stuff that will completely fly over your head but the whole of the plot in 2 is self contained and comprehensible.
No it's not. Was always possible to reach that ship by using a rowboat (if I recall correctly).

You're right.
Ah, I claimed it in the OT thread awhile back. I'm probably like half done so I'll keep working on it but PM me if you have anything to add. If you really wanna do the whole thing it's not a big deal either, just lemme know.
no, do it then!
Can't wait for this, I haven't gone past Flotsam in my Roach run so it'll be almost like a new game for me. 360 dudes are in for a treat.
PC patch will come on the 17th too right?
Same here. I feel like enough time has passed that a lot of the game will feel fresh anyway, especially if I take a different path and with the additional content.Well I am going to have to replay this game again on my PC. Such a great game.

Yeah, and I went into Gamestop the other day to see if I could put a few down on the Dark Edition, but the store wasn't actually getting any. It's looking like it's going to be EXTREMELY limited. They did have the regular edition in the machines though, and were advertising it pretty heavily, which was surprising and pretty cool to see. I'm going to keep hunting for the DE for now, myself.
Yeah, there's a LOAD of issues with that boss.
