Nah, it's a private Mumble server, PM Arken2121 for the info. I think we mentioned noon eastern time tomorrow, so 11 Central.

Omg... done writing it. Now I have to edit then have my editors edit. My goodness. It's like reproducing bunnies. The more I wrote other ideas popped into my head that I had forgotten.

Can't wait for the details! Sounds like the last couple hours of the Beta Anet had a ton of random dynamic events triggering, sounds like it was pretty cool.

Unfortunately, it would be pretty difficult without the other two campaigns. You could get 3 or 4 minipet points, depending on how much "barely played" is. You could get 3 companion points pretty easily. You'd get 3 honor points just by default. Armor would be difficult for you. Not only can it be quite pricey, but the armor sets that give extra points are crafted in the other campaigns. (Obby is probably out of your reach.) Finally, you can get like 2 Oppressor weapons by doing War in Kryta, but it can be time consuming. The other weapons are likely to be out of your reach, money-wise.

Thank you. I already checked the calculator, but the listed requirements don't really ring a bell with me. I only played a single character up to level 16 or so when Prophecies launched. So it is pretty much impossible to judge the difficulty of any requirements by myself.

What about playing all 3 campaigns? That way I would actually experience the whole story. Would it be feasible to achieve 30/50 just by playing the three campaigns and some solo farming and trading?

Oh, I am not trying to get a specific item from the list. They will probably only be used as skins for transmutation anyway and it is pretty hard to judge their looks just from the icons.

I am just a completionist with some spare time until the new semester starts and figured I may be able to get 30/50 while getting a grip of the world and the story before Guild Wars 2 launches.


Very much looking forward to footage of the new press event. I just hope there is some new stuff and/or some better players this time around (not going to happen).

If you finish the 3 campaigns, that's already 3 titles for you on the Honor track.

The Eternal Hero of X (Cantha, Elona, Tyria) titles are awarded for just completing a certain campaign. Do note that there isn't a title for completing Eye of the North.

If you manage to finish all missions with bonus objectives or masters reward, you additionally get the appropriate Eternal Protector of X from that campaign. Again, there isn't one for the EotN campaign.

So, if you finish all three campaigns and finish two campaigns with bonus objectives, you'll have 5 points from that, since you have 5 statues in Honor monument.

As for what campaigns to finish with Protector titles, that's up to you. Factions is probably the easiest and shortest, Prophecies is a lot of work but it's not too difficult. Nightfall is in the between of those.
 
I'm sorry to say this, but I think someone is going to have to run the podcast without me - my illness has progressed into dangerous territory - I woke up last night with my tonsil and my left inside of my mouth swollen. It's hard to speak and breathe, let alone even drink or eat.

I'm scheduled for a doctor's appointment at 11:15 AM, which is the earliest they can see me on such short notice for a "free" clinic. I don't have insurance, and everyone else around me is avoiding the emergency room, as me and my family are too poor to pay the doctor's bill there.

This is the worst feeling in the world. It feels like the back of my throat is closing in on itself, and my left ear no doubt being pushed on by the inflammation, is muffled beyond belief.

I leave it to you, Retro or Arken, to host the ustream and do the podcast, or rather wait until later today to see if I am better after antibiotics (which I am sure to get prescribed). I am most certainly not going to work today either as I am way too unfit for even talking to anyone until I get this under control.

Once again, I apologize.

Not to go completely off topic, but what you just described is what my wife went through recently (about 3 weeks ago). It sounds like an abscess of your tonsil. what they did for my wife was give her morphine shot for pain, then an IV drip of superstrong antibiotics and then sent her home with antibiotics.

If that didn't work (which it did) they were doing to have to go in and drain it which is dangerous (it's close to a major vein) and painful. Hopefully, the antibiotics works for you.

Very nice, getting two skills merged into one means more variety. As they were the last profession introduced, I expect them to change the most just because they didn't have as much time to really sink in. Memser love is always good.

People expecting the second coming were going to be disappointed no matter what. We've known all along though that it's going to be an awesome game with a lot of new, interesting ways of changing up a genre that has slipped into a rut. It's a revolution in the evolution of MMOs, not an entirely new species but a substantial leap forward.

That specific guild in the video is a press guild. It wasn't created by the player rather it was an ANet employee that had to manually add the people in the press beta. Just so you know.
